Congratulations on the 10k! I had a similar milestone reached the other day when I finally became a dolphin. Kind of worthless but still a nice feeling, right?

I am always a bit conflicted if writing more personal posts ('online diary') or be more formal and do e.g. art or photo how-tos. But, to be honest, I am tired of how tos, in the age of ChatGPT and the like it seems very, very pointless. So, I'd rather post something a little more personal, give it some character, you know? In that sense, I don't mind reading 'diary kind of blogs' as long as they are written interestingly and the poster engages with their audiences i.e. replies. Posts I cannot get behind are e.g. one photo posts with little text or gazillion photo posts with no text or posts that sound as if the text comes from a formal book or wikipedia. Too boring to me.

Anyhow, I think there are many ways to hive and hope you'll continue to hive on!

There are many ways to Hive, you're right about that. It's not that I'm against reading personal blogs. There are certain kinds of blogs I cannot get behind. Everyone on Hive does what feels right to them, just like I try to do.

Also congrats on reaching your milestone. It may seem kind of worthless but as long as you're proud about it, it's worth mentioning it. Well done!

I guess I will continue to Hive, no choice. I didn't do a helluva lot of work to get to 10K, and then give up ...
