OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1702nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I've been thinking about it recently, and I've found that it seems that multiple people in my life, have kind of been feeling the same way. Unmotivated, and in general, certain aspects of their lives are kind of just being neglected.

Those who know me, know that I am calm, and that I am usually cautious too, but this June 22nd I was assaulted at 12 at night at the door of my house, two people on a motorcycle apparently followed me and saw that I got off the motorcycle, when I turned it off one of them got off and pointed a gun at me, I reacted in a bad way, because you could say that I resisted, I took the key from the motorcycle, I slapped the gun, pushed the thief and ran away, I ran as fast as I could, when I got to where there was a little more light and I felt safer, I called the police, until then I did not believe that they had stolen my motorcycle since I did not have a key, but they must have broken the lock on the handlebars and dragged it away... then After a few minutes I came back, obviously cautious since they could be there, who knows what could happen... There I noticed that the motorcycle was no longer there, I went into the house and called the police again, who didn't take long to arrive, I went to talk to them to explain the situation and there we saw that the gun was on the floor... it was a toy, at first I was very angry since I could have done something else, but everyone around me, even friends within the Hive community told me that it would not have been right to defend myself, since we don't know if they could have hurt me, but that thought is always there.

"There was a weak, hungry, old lady who was asked for help by a young man near his village. She had already been rejected by many other villages. His village was also suffering from food shortages. However, the young man helped and saved the old lady. His village people took care of her very well.

It's that time of the year (decated?!) again — Olympic games! Waiting four years for the Olympic games is a lot more exciting than the boring soccer world cup. We get to see a bunch of awesome sports that are often living under the shadows of the mainstream media. At least, here in Brazil, we're flooded with soccer crap all day / year-long.

How do you like your coffee? I enjoyed mine brewed and strong. My day will not start without drinking a cup of coffee and some pastries. Today's breakfast is a croissant from Merci Cafe. It has a cream filling inside and topped with cubed brownies.

Last Thursday was my first anniversary in the blockchain. I’m a person who can remember dates before the said day and forget when that day comes. I don’t know. Are you the same as me? The same as my anniversary here on the platform, before the day comes, I know that I will be celebrating my anniversary on the said date but when it happens, I forget, and thanks to @hivebuzz who reminds me about it. I was hesitant if I should share my achievements on the platform, I think it's a norm to celebrate small successes that you are part of the blockchain.

Fritz Lang's "The Testament of Dr. Mabuse" (1933) picks up where its predecessor left off, diving back into the twisted world of the criminal mastermind Dr. Mabuse. Last week I reviewed "Dr. Mabuse the Gambler" (1922); this week we're reviewing the sequel where, eleven years later, Lang brings Mabuse back to the screen, this time with a crackling soundtrack to accompany the madness.

This sugar-filled monstrosity took me three days to put together! I am absolutely sure that we'll be in a chocolate coma tomorrow as we celebrate Matthew's 12th birthday!
