OCD Community Boost Contest S2 #8 Winners [Drone]
We now have the winners!
A special thanks to @ksteem and @acidyo for their support in facilitating this contest. It's been amazing to see the growth of drone community since they joined the incubation program over seven months now. We hope that the community will continue to thrive, even after the contest is over. Before the winners are announced, let's take a moment to see the changes in Drone's subscriber and engagement numbers.
The purpose of the screenshots is to see how the community is doing before the contest and then after the contest. The most notable change in Drone is the increase in the number of interaction from 36 to 156. We can also see the significant change in active users from 23 to 56 users. The contest have also helped the increase in subscribers from 209 to 226. Although it's not a significant number but the increase on active and interactions number are worth noting.
There are about 15 entries and posts created within that period of the contest. It was nice to see a very niche community such as drone received the entries and enthusiasm from hivers.
From the first post, the prize pool generated received 85.507 HIVE. The picture below is the transfer made to Drone community account.
That means the winners will receive:
1st Place: 35% of the rewards of the contest post = 29.92 Hive
2nd Place: 25% of the rewards of the contest post = 21.37 Hive
3rd Place: 20% of the rewards of the contest post = 17.10Hive
4th Place: 10% of the rewards of the contest post = 8.55 Hive
5th Place: 10% of the rewards of the contest post = 8.55 Hive

Well known in Poland as a destination for climbing expeditions - Mięguszowieckie peaks. I took the photos from a drone during sunset when I spent the night on the Bystra Ławka pass. I was hidden between the rocky towers, so I raised the drone to see a beautiful sunset on the ridge.
Second Place: @borniet
Ah, mornings. You either love 'em or you hate 'em, right? But for me, they're like a blank canvas just begging for some action. So, this one morning, I wake up and it's darker than a Belgian stout and mistier than a sauna. Most sane people would say, "Screw it," and go back to sleep. But I've got this gut feeling, like a sixth sense, telling me, "Dude, the sun's gonna rock the sky today, don't miss the gig!"
Third Place: @vcclothing
We had some holiday credit from COVID that was due to expire so we had to choose a destination that would be child friendly.We found the Maldives was an option so we thought let's tick off that bucket list destination!!
Fourth Place: @mengao
I haven't had many opportunities to go out and fly my drone lately, but this week I had a couple. I went to Sunset Cliffs with a friend earlier this week, and decided to take my drone with me. Also, today I had to drive to Los Angeles and on the way back I decided to stop at Dana Point to get a few shots there.
Fifth Place: @karinxxl
Summer was ending and finally it was time to empty out the drone from its images. Because editting...yeah it takes some time. Not the editting itself it the issue. With the quite naturally working 'Videoproc Vlogger' the editting gets easier and easier even though you don't have a lot of experience in it.
For those who participated in the contest but didn't make it into the top 5, we want to let you know that you are already winners in our eyes. Your effort and dedication to creating a quality post is recognized and appreciated. We hope to see you and your participation in future contests!
