HPud & Saturday Savers (on a sunday)

Well, it's apparently midnight where I live so I'm officially late for Saturday Savers, and just on time for #HPUD.

I honestly kind of just forgot that September was so close, so this caught me a little by surprise. I managed to power up 14 Hive, since it's what I happened to have in HBD sitting around. Not much at all, but it was enough to trigger the badge, which is nice.

I haven't had a ton of progress towards the goals since I did my bigger power-up on the 15th, but it's steady progress. I'm already back to posting more frequently now that I've been adjusting to returning to work this last week, and that's going to continue to be helpful as we go forward.

In a last-minute decision, I opted to snag $100 CAD in Hive, which I was able to power up most of to help boost me even further today.

I had been at 1,151 HP, but after today's two power-ups, I've hit 1,547.644 HP. I kept 29 in reserve in case I end up wanting to go for the Power Up Month Challenge

I'm pretty satisfied with this decision - I've had it in the back of my mind to start doing a bit of DCA'ing back into HIVE as we go into 2025. It's not a lot, but I think $100-$200 CAD per month will go a long way to bringing me back to where I had been in January of 2024.

I haven't added any real amount of LEO or BBH at this time, but that's alright. I think my primary focus will be getting HP back up to a point where curation rewards aren't god-awful. It doesn't take much (all in all) to start pulling in 100+ HP per month simply through curation rewards, and I'd really like to get back to that.

Over the course of my time here, curation rewards almost account for 50% of my total earnings, and that's pretty substantial when you're a small-fry like me, who has only been here since Dec 2019 and didn't even start really posting until well into 2020.
