Hive has over the years been a source of income to many and it has helped many out of financial instability.

TAKING MY JOURNEY SO FAR ON HIVE AS AN EXAMPLE

I will seize this moment to recall that I was brought on board by a very good friend who is a person of @starstrings01 and he mentioned to me that year that hive is a life changing platform.
But what did I pick out of the message? I only picked the sharp sharp money aspect.

This was what led to me opting out of hive as at year 2020 simply because I wasn't real on hive. I only wanted the cash and nothing more.

Without saying too much, we are going to be looking at two important points in this blog, which are:

2. DISADVANTAGES OF BEING UNREAL

BENEFITS OF BEING REAL ON HIVE: What are the benefits of being real on hive?
if you ask me that question, I'll reply you with my life which we are going to be looking closely into in essence.

The benefits are as follows:

1. you meet true friends
2. good upvotes will locate you
3. your engagement skills keeps improving
4. you get massive engagements on your post
5. you get to learn a lot, like blogging skills from reading and engaging on others posts.
   
   How do these benefits come into reality?
   once you come on board, imagine yourself into the world of social media like twitter and the likes doing what you love the most. Therefore, growing in your contents and going through others posts will assist you to learn how to write your post well, and how to do better.

Note: that your growing process might be slow. Do not compare a person that has been on hive for four years to yourself that joined four months ago.... how could you?
Instead, grow..... focus on your growth, following these tips.

When I started, I had few friends, which I gradually increased by making new ones through engagement.

I can tell for sure that I've learnt a lot from these very people I mentioned and also others and it has been of great help in my journey on hive.

Do you know that during my earlier days on hive, I have made comments that don't align with what I read due to the fact that I actually didn't read them. I just wanted to fulfill all righteousness of engagement which wasn't real, and it really didn't help me, Instead, I got frustrated when I was getting little or no votes, and I opted out.

DISADVANTAGES OF BEING UNREAL ON HIVE

1. You'll definitely run out of contents someday.
2. you'll find engagements boring.
3. your communication skill will definitely be poor.
4. Your friends list will remain stagnant or keep reducing.
5. you'll get poor upvotes due to lack of knowledge
6. I'm sorry to say, you might opt out just as I did.

In order to avoid these out listed disadvantages, follow the tips of getting benefits that I listed above.
