The purpose of life is pleasure. We are at our best when we are enjoying life and being pleasured. Scripture says God created everything and for His pleasure, they were created. We are wired for enjoyment. When we are enjoying what makes up our life, we are happy. Struggling at any level is what makes life painful, it is what makes us hate our existence. There is a difference between having a challenge and struggling. Everybody has challenges, but not everybody is struggling. To struggle is to be inadequate and to lack what it takes to overcome your challenge. It is to be overcome and overwhelmed by your daily challenges. This is what makes life difficult and unbearable. _ Rev Joe
Christ said he came that we might enjoy life. Life is purposeful when we can enjoy it! Challenges are there to make us grow, and it becomes an exciting adventure when there is hope and faith, confidence, and expectation, based on the assurance of sufficiency in God. It gets your adrenaline pumping because you cannot wait to see what God is about to do next. But challenges become draining when you are struggling and can’t see a way out of your problems. So, what is supposed to grow and expand you, in your consciousness, relationships, finances, and spiritually, now becomes what drains, fatigues, and limits you.
Therefore, it is not the challenge that is the problem, it is the configuration of your life when the challenge strikes that makes it either a benefit or a setback. God expects you to get up each morning and be grateful for the opportunity to live. We ought to thank him for our challenges because that is how we grow and expand. When you dread the day because of the challenges in your life, it is an indication that your life is out of control, and you need to order your existence. - Rev Joe
God never created a day for you to be sad in or to be defeated by. God created every day for your maximum benefit, maximum enjoyment, and maximum profiting. The day does not even have to go the way you planned for it to be beneficial to you. Be fully persuaded that this day was created for your good as you count on the fact that there is something in today that God has planned that no matter what happens you cannot be defeated. Therefore, may you have the wisdom to maximize your life and to enjoy your day, to face today not with dread but with expectation and adventure. - Rev Joe
