De paseo con mis sobrinas | Out for a walk with my nieces

¡Hola Hivers! Que gusto saludarlos, en especial a toda la comunidad de #family&Friends hoy quiero contarles sobre una tarde diferente que pase el día de hoy junto con mis hermanos y mis sobrinas.

Hi Hivers! What a pleasure to greet you, especially to all the #family&Friends community today I want to tell you about a different afternoon I spent today together with my siblings and my nieces.

Para empezar quiero contarles que tengo 2 hermanos varones y una hermana. Todos son mayores que yo, ya están casados y tienen sus familias. Mis hermanos me han regalado una de las cosas más importante en mi vida: mis sobrinas. Tengo 4 sobrinas, la mayor de todas se llama Danielys, es hija de mi hermano mayor Daniel, tiene 11 años y vive en Bogotá, Colombia. Mi hermano José tiene dos hijas, la mayor que se llama Fabiana, tiene 9 años y Fiorella que es la más pequeñita y apenas tiene 4 añitos. Mi hermana Elena tiene una hija y se llama Beatriz Elena y tiene 8 años. Todas ellas con sus ocurrencias, con su amor y su carisma se han convertido la alegría de la familia.

To begin with, I want to tell you that I have two brothers and a sister. They are all older than me, are already married and have their families. My brothers have given me one of the most important things in my life: my nieces. I have 4 nieces, the oldest of them all is named Danielys, she is the daughter of my older brother Daniel, she is 11 years old and lives in Bogota, Colombia. My brother Jose has two daughters, the oldest is called Fabiana, she is 9 years old and Fiorella is the youngest and she is only 4 years old. My sister Elena has a daughter named Beatriz Elena who is 8 years old. All of them with their witticisms, love and charisma have become the joy of the family.

El día de hoy decidimos salir a comprarle unos zapatos colegiales a mi sobrina Fabiana, y aprovechando que mi hermana y mi sobrina Beatriz estaban de visita en mi casa, decidimos salir todos juntos. La verdad al principio fue una odisea conseguir los zapatos, porque algunas de las zapaterías estaban cerradas y en las otras no habían casi zapatos colegiales. Cuando por fin conseguimos una tienda con muchos zapatos de ese estilo, nos surgió otro problema, no habían casi de su talla. Fabiana es una niña alta y que está en pleno desarrollo, así que está creciendo súper rápido, es por eso que su talla de zapatos es 37-38 la misma talla que mi hermana y mi mamá 😄 ella escogió unos zapatos y gracias a Dios habían de su talla y le quedaban perfecto, se los pudimos comprar y ya podrá ir el lunes a clases con sus zapatos nuevos.

Today we decided to go out to buy some school shoes for my niece Fabiana, and taking advantage of the fact that my sister and my niece Beatriz were visiting my house, we decided to go out together. At the beginning it was a real odyssey to get the shoes, because some of the shoe stores were closed and in the others there were almost no school shoes. When we finally found a store with many shoes of that style, we had another problem, there were almost no shoes in her size. Fabiana is a tall and growing girl, so she is growing super fast, that's why her shoe size is 37-38 the same size as my sister and my mom 😄 she chose some shoes and thank God there were in her size and they fit her perfectly, we were able to buy them for her and she will be able to go to school on Monday with her new shoes.

Luego de eso mis hermanos se bajaron a comprar algunas cosas, yo decidí quedarme en el carro con mis sobrinas porque iban a hacer unas compras rápidas y era mejor que esperaramos ahí. En ese tiempo aproveche de tomarme muchas fotos con ellas, las cuales son las que estoy colocando en este post🤭. Mientras estábamos ahí, vimos que en la calle se acercaba una marcha de personas, no entendíamos nada. Cuando la marcha estuvo más cerca me di cuenta que era una caminata denominada "marcha por Jesús" una actividad realizada por las iglesias cristianas de mi ciudad. Fue bonito ver a muchos conocidos caminando en esa actividad.

After that my brothers went down to buy some things, I decided to stay in the car with my nieces because they were going to do some quick shopping and it was better to wait there. During that time I took many pictures with them, which are the ones I am posting in this post🤭. While we were there, we saw that in the street a march of people was approaching, we didn't understand anything. When the march was closer I realized that it was a walk called "march for Jesus" an activity carried out by the Christian churches in my city. It was nice to see many acquaintances walking in that activity.

Después de eso, decidimos llevarlas a un parque que está cerca de nuestra casa, el cual tiene columpios, sube y baja y toboganes. Pero como habían otros niños, solo pudieron usar el sube y baja. En uno se montó Fabiana y Beatriz y en el otro Fiorella con la ayuda de su papá. Al verlas ahí jugando, mi mente se transportó a cuando era niño y también iba a esos parques y me divertía muchísimo. Cuando uno es niño es muy feliz pero no lo sabe, la vida de adulto está difícil 😂. Estuvimos un rato ahí compartiendo y después decidimos irnos y por supuesto mis sobrinas no se querían ir, pero ya era hora de llevarlas a su casa.

After that, we decided to take them to a park near our house, which has swings, see-saws and slides. But since there were other children there, they could only use the seesaw. Fabiana and Beatriz rode one and Fiorella rode the other with the help of her dad. Seeing them there playing, my mind went back to when I was a kid and also went to those parks and had a lot of fun. When you are a kid you are very happy but you don't know it, adult life is hard 😂. We were there for a while sharing and then we decided to leave and of course my nieces didn't want to leave, but it was time to take them home.

Primero llevamos a Fabiana y Fiorella a su casa con su mamá. Mi hermano actualmente está en proceso de divorcio con su ex pareja, así que toda esta situación nos ha hecho estar muchísimo más pendientes de las niñas y compartiendo con ellas para tratar de minimizar un poco los daños emocionales que ellas puedan estar sintiendo, la verdad no ha sido fácil, pero juntos como familia estamos trabajando para que todo marche de la mejor manera.

First we took Fabiana and Fiorella home with their mom. My brother is currently going through a divorce with his ex-partner, so this whole situation has made us be much more aware of the girls and sharing with them to try to minimize the emotional damage they may be feeling, the truth is that it has not been easy, but together as a family we are working to make everything go as smoothly as possible.

Después cuando íbamos de regreso a dejar mi hermana en su casa, pasamos comprando unas ricas chichas venezolanas, tenía tiempo sin probar una y estaba deliciosa, tenía chocolate y leche condensada. Quiero intentar hacer una chicha en mi casa, si me queda bien, les haré un post contándoles y mostrándoles la receta. Fuimos a llevar a mi hermana y mi sobrina Beatriz a su casa y luego nos fuimos a la nuestra. Fue una tarde bonita, dónde reí mucho con las ocurrencias de mis sobrinas, las amo mucho y solo le pido a Dios que me permita proveerlas de muchas más cosas y que sigan siendo unas niñas sanas y felices❤️

Then when we were on our way back to drop my sister at her house, we went shopping for some delicious Venezuelan chichas, I hadn't tried one in a while and it was delicious, it had chocolate and condensed milk in it. I want to try to make a chicha at my house, if it turns out well, I will do a post telling you about it and showing you the recipe. We went to take my sister and my niece Beatriz to their house and then we went to ours. It was a nice afternoon, where I laughed a lot with the witticisms of my nieces, I love them very much and I only ask God to allow me to provide them with many more things and that they continue being healthy and happy girls❤️
