How to Prepare Red Cabbage Smoothie with Pineapple
Healthy drinks and can refresh the body is one of my ways to enjoy delicious raw vegetables and fresh fruits at the same time in one combination.
The recent hot weather makes me really like cold drinks, cold drinks packaged in the refrigerator are not very good if consumed continuously by the body, so I have the idea to buy fruits, and buy vegetables that I rarely find at the traditional market in my area. To prepare a healthy drink, I have to prepare a drink consisting of natural ingredients such as fruits or vegetables. Now the combination of these two types of natural ingredients from vegetables and fruit is sometimes difficult for our tongues to accept, but if we process it in a different way it will definitely produce a different taste, and will certainly make you immediately enjoy the freshness.
Combining vegetables to make smoothies or juices, we need to pay attention to the natural flavors of these vegetables. Red cabbage, also known as purple cabbage, has a slightly bitter taste compared to green cabbage, with a slightly crunchy texture, making it perfect for smoothies. Well, because it tastes a little bitter, I combine this vegetable with fruit that has sour and sweet content such as pineapple, the bitter nature of cabbage will disappear if you combine it with fruit that has acid content such as pineapple.
PRESENTATION PROCEDURE
Well, if you're curious, I'll start preparing easy and healthy smoothies to accompany your tired day at home. Here are the ingredients you need to prepare in advance:
1/2 part pineapple
2 tablespoons of sugar
Enough water
After preparing some simple ingredients that are very easy to find in your area, I will invite you to prepare a virtual smoothie in the nest. Now here I use an artificial sweetener, namely granulated sugar, because my tongue really likes the sweet taste but the sweet taste is not excessive, just a little sugar will be very beneficial for me.
The first step in preparing the smoothie, I started by washing the red cabbage, and cutting the pineapple into small pieces.
Then start preparing the blender, Then add all the pineapple pieces, in a blender slowly.
Then put the red cabbage pieces into the blender.
Then start adding 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, now I also add a little salt, this is optional if you don't like these two ingredients you can skip it.
Then add enough water, and I add only 1 cup so that the flavors of the vegetables and fruits stand out more.
Then blend until smooth on medium speed.
And finally pour it in your glass, and it's ready to be enjoyed, now if you are a lover of cold drinks you can add ice.
