Tofu Soup With Shimeji Mushrooms
Yesterday I made a bowl of white tofu soup with a combination of simeji mushrooms. In my opinion, this mushroom is a very delicious mushroom, even though the price is a little more expensive than the price of other mushrooms, but if this mushroom is processed into any dish it will be very different.
The ingredients used in the soup can be whatever you want. However, today I prepared a soup with simple ingredients from various spices which will definitely give a delicious taste and aroma that is enough to make you hungry.
Materials Used
- 2 pieces of white tofu
- 100 grams of simeji mushrooms
- 1 tomato
- 1 star anise
- 2 cardamom grains
- A pinch of ground pepper
- 1 spring onion
- 1 stalk of celery leaves
Ground Spices
- 4 red onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 candlenut
- 7 cayenne peppers
- 2 star anise flower segment (optional)
Cooking Procedure
Cut the mushrooms into small pieces, or according to your taste. Here I cut it into several pieces.
Continue cutting the white tofu into squares as you wish.
Prepare the ground spices, then blend the spices until smooth.
Add the ground spices to the soup cooking pan. Add a little water, then add the star anise flowers and cardamom grains.
Cook until the soup boils, then add the mushroom pieces.
Add ground pepper, and also add tofu, cook until completely cooked.
Season with salt, then add the chopped celery leaves and tomatoes.
Cook until done and don't forget to adjust the taste.
Results
Simeji mushroom white tofu soup is ready to be served, serve it in your favorite bowl while it is warm. Then feel how the sensation feels. Surely this delicious soup will warm your body. Especially when you feel feverish like I do now. Soup is always the right alternative when everything is tasteless on the tongue. However, soup provides its own taste and warmth when we enjoy it.
For those of you who want a different soup from mushrooms, try this simple soup, I guarantee you will definitely like it. The taste is savory and very delicious, what I like most is the softness of the evenly cooked mushrooms, especially the softness of the white tofu which gives the best taste.
