How To Easily Make Vegan Instant Noodle Dimsum
Today, I will invite you to prepare one of the simple snacks at home. This snack has a unique flavor that you must have never seen before. Steamed snacks are an alternative option that I want to try to prepare this time. It's made with whatever ingredients I have in my fridge, but still pay attention to what ingredients to adjust in the recipe. This is a new recipe that I found, I didn't think much when I had vegan instant noodles yesterday and was going to prepare it at home with this simple recipe.
Vegan Noodle Dimsum
Instant noodle dimsum or in my country many people interpret dimsum as siomai. However, the two dishes have similarities, except that somai usually has less meat. But I think the seasoning or sauce is the same. Well Dimsum instant noodles is a combination of instant noodles wrapped in dimsum skin with a mixture of carrots and potatoes. If I have other vegetables, maybe I will add them. I really like vegetables cooked whatever nteh why vegetables are still delicious. Especially in making dimsum snacks like this carrots and instant noodles become very delicious.
This is not my first time making vegan dimsum, I have made corn dimsum before. And it became my best post in the vegan community. I am so happy that many people liked the recipe, so this time you will find a new recipe for dimsum. Here I will show you the step by step preparation!
Ingredients Used
1 carrot
4 pieces of potato
Dimsum skin to taste
2 spring onion stalks
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon ground pepper
Cooking Procedure
The first step in preparing to make dimsum is to clean the potatoes and carrots.
Then grate the carrots and potatoes with grated cheese so that the texture is smooth and a little fibrous. If you want to be quick, you can chop it.
If it is finished in the grate, mix the two in one container where the dough will be made.
Next, boil instant noodles in boiling water until tender and cooked.
Add noodles in a container containing potatoes and carrots earlier.
Stir both until evenly distributed, add flour all while stirring, then add chopped onion leaves.
Next, season with salt and ground papper then stir again until evenly distributed.
Take a sheet of dimsum skin then add a spoon of noodle mixture, wrinkle the dimsum shape according to taste, then do it until it's finished.
Steam for approximately 15 to 20 minutes over medium heat. Do not forget when steaming in the first 10 minutes to brush the surface of the skin with water so that it is not hard.
Result
Yeay so happy that the vegan noodle dimsum was cooked perfectly with very good results. I added seaweed pieces and wjen seeds on top. Just look at how charming they are, I want to devour them all. Hhehe it's a no-go I have to share it with my friend later we will eat together after I take some pictures to share with you.
Ahh the first bite with the sauces dipping was very tempting, very spicy and the noodle filling combined with the carrot potato was also very soft plus eaten while warm adds to the softness of the dimsum skin.
I really like this combination, it's delicious and I think it will be very suitable for your child's snacks later. As for the noodles themselves, I think if you don't like instant noodles you can replace them with other types of vegan noodles.
