Flour Fried Chicken Topped with Red Sauce
Hi everyone, it's great to be able to bring back simple recipes from my simple kitchen. Today I will prepare one of the easy recipes from chicken fillet pieces that have been in my refrigerator for a few days. I made this for a simple lunch at home, very easy for you to prepare for sure. Now this recipe itself I found on the internet some time ago, but the original recipe is different, the original recipe uses packaged chili sauce that is stirred and cooked. Well minimizing packaging products I try to make from the ingredients at home. Of course I am very happy to use natural ingredients, and believe me it still tastes very good.
Ingredients Used
Instant fried flour
½ carrot
½ onion
1 tablespoon butter
1 spring onion
6 red chili peppers
1 tomato
2 cloves shallot
1 clove of garlic
Cooking Procedure
I prepared the ingredients for the sauce first cut the leeks and onions according to taste.
Then cut small carrots lengthwise or can be cut with a cutter.
Mince the chicken according to taste. Then marinate briefly with salt.
Prepare all-purpose flour then, mix all-purpose flour with enough water. Also prepare for the dry flour coating.
Next, put the chicken pieces in the wet flour well here I put it all at once.
Dip in dry flour, then fry until brownish yellow.
Next, prepare the sauce, grind chilies, tomatoes, shallots and garlic then saute in butter and add onions red.
Next, add the spices, cook for a while and then add the carrot pieces.
Add salt then cook until the water shrinks to make sure the carrots are cooked completely.
Finally stir all the ingredients until well mixed, and if it has shrunk add the chicken that has been fried crisp.
Result
So happy that the crispy fried chicken with sauce was ready to be served, I served it on a serving plate by adding lettuce leaves. I enjoy this with warm rice during the day. The taste is very delicious, the combination of flour chicken that is fried crispy when coated with sauce adds a different flavor. The chicken that used to be ordinary, turns into a complete package with a spectacular combination of flavors, spicy, savory, a little sour from tomatoes adds a very authentic taste.
In my opinion, chicken fried with instant flour is very delicious but when stirred, it will quickly develop a mushy texture if left for a long time. Therefore, make sure you add it in the sauce when you are going to enjoy it. It is enough to make you more satisfied when enjoying it because the fried flour chicken remains crisp.
