First Time Making Simple Vegan Kebabs
Today I will invite you to prepare one of the simple dishes from the middle east actually yes. Hehe but it's not wrong if we make a vegan version with makeshift ingredients. Kebab skin is very easy to make but many people choose to buy it instant. But to maintain quality for you vegan lovers I think you should prepare at home. So you know better what ingredients they add to the skin mixture.
I have a very easy recipe for making this skin, the ingredients I'm sure will be very easy for you to get and most importantly must always be at home. So here is a step by step preparation of this simple dish.
Ingredients Used
100 ml warm water
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ tomato
Lettuce leaves to taste
Crispy fried tempeh
Making Procedure
Prepare the flour in a larger container then mix it little by little with warm water.
Add salt, then knead until all ingredients are mixed.
Then add baking powder, knead until the dough is evenly distributed and not sticky to the hands.
Then divide the dough into 5 parts if you want a smaller size divide it into more.
Next, flatten the ground dough as thin as possible, in this section you can add oil or flour so that the dough is not sticky.
If all the dough has been flattened, heat the non-stick Teflon, then cook the kebab skin on the Teflon, don't forget to turn it over so that it cooks evenly.
Serving Suggestion
For the presentation, I added vegetables, fried tempeh and vegetable protein, then added the sauce and served it straight away without re-grilling. But if you like the grilled version of the kebab, do it again after all the ingredients are wrapped in the skin. Now how to enjoy it all depends on your own taste. However, I personally prefer the version that is enjoyed directly like this. Now that doesn't mean I never enjoy the grilled version of kebab. I often do it at home, in my opinion both ways of enjoying it have different taste qualities but still delicious with their versions.
The flavor picture of today's result is very satisfying kebab skin with a simple but quite tasty filling. As a lettuce lover, this is a delicious version of enjoying a home-cooked kebab. It's all very tasty and practical to enjoy.
