Coffee Banana Cake
This soft banana cake always makes me want to make the best of it at home. Banana cake with coffee aroma is not a new recipe in my house. The coffee gives a fragrant aroma when making this cake, so it is certain that while baking you will definitely be hungry.
Made from bananas, the addition of coffee and chocolate will make those of you who don't like bananas fall in love. At first I underestimated this recipe, the combination of coffee and banana is something new to me. So this cake is the best alternative at the moment.
So here I will invite you to prepare a recipe for the process of making banana sponge.
Ingredients Used
1 egg
200 grams of wheat flour
1 sachet of nescafe coffee
2 2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons of cocoa
3 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
Cooking Processure
Puree the banana, then prepare the eggs, add sugar.
Beat the egg until fluffy, add baking soda.
Add the banana that has been mashed, add the chocolate mixer until well mixed, don't forget to add salt.
Then add butter, and add flour little by little mixer again then add coffee that has been brewed with enough hot water.
Grease the pan with margarine and flour then add the dough in the pan and flatten it.
After the dough is in the pan add enough choco chips. Bake until cooked for about 45 minutes using top and bottom heat at 200 degrees Celsius.
Result
The result was unsatisfactory, the sponge cake felt a bit hard, I'm not sure why the texture didn't work as usual. Even though the measurements were the same and the type of flour was the same, the overall flavor was as usual. It's great to be able to enjoy a good banana sponge cake even though the taste is not as expected.
Please let me know where I went wrong, maybe I used the wrong butter, I usually use cooking oil. Although using butter I usually melt it first. But yes, everything has been prepared, even though it is not as soft as usual.

Just saying that it is coffee and chocolate made my mouth water. It looks super delicious, plus the banana is great tasting. Virtual hugs
The aroma of the coffee was very good, although the cake wasn't as perfect as usual!
So delightful beautiful 😻. I love how this banana cake came out well finished 🥰❤️
It's not that perfect, the texture is not as soft as usual! But the taste is good, no problem.
Delicioso 😋
Thank you for dropping by!
its relly good with a cup of tea in the afternoon vibes.
hello sis, this must be really delicious... the reason why the cake is not soft and fluffy looking at the ingredients you used seems like there is something wrong, it could be the baking powder and baking soda measurements as far as I know, ideally 1 tsp baking powder for 1 cup of flour and ¼ tsp baking soda for 1 cup flour. You can also overmix because you mixed the baking soda with the eggs in the first. tips from me, try changing the steps, you can use a banana mixer with sugar and salt until fluffy, 10 minutes, the mixture should be white, then add the flour, baking powder and baking soda, mixer for 6 minutes on medium speed, and finally add the liquid ingredients, stir with a spatula... I hope it works, sis. I share from my experience 😊
Well thanks for giving your tips, I'll try it next time. Happy weekend dear!
Your welcome
