Cassava Balls Satay Cake
Cassava Satay Balls
This traditional snack is quite popular in my country. There are many people making this, with their own recipes and ways. But this time I will make cassava satay balls without mixing flour into it. Just by adding jely powder this dish will be perfect and very delicious. Soft chewy with colorful variants that tantalize your eyes of course.
If you want a little sourness, you can add some tantalizing lemon flavor. But since I just wanted the usual flavor without the sourness, I didn't add it this time. I'll show you the recipe I prepared below!.
Ingredients Used
1 tablespoon jelly powder
50 grams grated coconut
2 tablespoons sugar
Food coloring to taste
Skewers to taste
Cooking Procedure
Here I use grated cassava Grate the whole cassava then squeeze the water not too dry. Next steam the grated coconut by adding enough salt and sugar.
Add sugar, then add jelly powder and stir until evenly distributed.
Add half a teaspoon in the grated cassava mixture.
If the dough is ready, divide 3 parts of the grated cassava that has been squeezed. Then give coloring here I color yellow, red and green.
Then compact it into a round shape the size you want. Round it according to the color, ignore my hand that is tekerna food coloring.
Everything is ready to be rounded, then steam until cooked in a steamer pan that has been preheated. The steamer container is covered with a cloth, so that when steamed there is no steam coming down onto the cake.
Next, everything that has been cooked in the steamer is rolled in grated coconut that has been steamed earlier.
Skewer on a skewer and then it's ready to be served, enjoy this delicious cassava ball cake.
