Entre las cosas hermosas que ocurren en la naturaleza, hay algunas que, como estas imágenes, lo que provocan es sentarse a llorar de tristeza. Acá se demuestra que la lucha entre el hombre y ella, no tendrá final. Ella, la naturaleza, tolera que el humano desde el inicio de los tiempos, la convierta en su única aliada, y se aproveche de sus bondades. Es capaz de brindarle al hombre calor, oxígeno, alimento, cobijo y preservar su vida. Ahora bien, el hombre, ¿qué le da a cambio de tanto?…
Este es un hermoso árbol que, debido a la llegada del invierno, ha mudado sus hojas. Fue plantado hace más de 50 años, en una de las aceras, para decorar, dar sombra, proteger del cruel verano y dar vida a las aves que en él se posan para anidar. Me he quedado sin palabras, al notar que hay un cesto para echar desechos, incrustado en su gran tallo.
Un cesto de hierro, lamentablemente y para comodidad del vecino, se colocó a su lado. Este fue creciendo y el usuario que coloca sus desperdicios dentro del cesto, día a día, no se percató de que le estaba haciendo tanto daño.
En las imágenes que capturé con mi Samsung A-12, se visualiza que con el paso de los años, el cesto, se incrustó dentro del tallo. En vista de que la naturaleza no detiene su crecimiento, supongo que para los que podan estos grandes árboles, ha sido imposible separar uno del otro, sin que la planta sufra, por lo que deciden dejarla así.
Para mí, lo que acá ocurre ha sido por indiferencia e ingratitud del hombre ante la naturaleza, priorizando solamente así su comodidad. Espero que este caso, se convierta en una denuncia pública, para evitar recurrencias.

Among the beautiful things that happen in nature, there are some that, like these images, make you sit down and cry with sadness. Here it is demonstrated that the struggle between man and nature will never end. She, the nature, tolerates that the human being, since the beginning of time, turns her into his only ally, and takes advantage of her kindnesses. It is capable of providing man with warmth, oxygen, food, shelter and preserving his life. Now, what does man give him in exchange for so much?
This is a beautiful tree that, due to the arrival of winter, has shed its leaves. It was planted more than 50 years ago, on one of the sidewalks, to decorate, provide shade, protect from the cruel summer and give life to the birds that perch there to nest. I am speechless, noticing that there is a basket to throw waste, embedded in its large stem.
An iron basket, unfortunately and for the convenience of the neighbor, was placed next to it. This was growing and the user who places his waste inside the basket, day by day, did not realize that he was doing so much damage.
In the images I captured with my Samsung A-12, you can see that over the years, the basket became embedded inside the stem. Since nature does not stop its growth, I suppose that for those who prune these large trees, it has been impossible to separate one from the other, without the plant suffering, so they decide to leave it that way.
For me, what happens here has been due to man's indifference and ungratefulness towards nature, prioritizing only his own comfort. I hope that this case becomes a public denunciation, to avoid recurrences.

Hola, me parece un acto cruel, los árboles también sienten dolor cuando arrancamos sus hojas o flores, como se sentirá con todo ese hierro incrustrado en su tronco. El hombre es un ser racional, pero también cruel y muchas veces no valora las bondades de la naturaleza. Es una lástima. Saludos.
