Shall We Talk about United's Rebuilding?
Hello Friends, I'm ashamed having to apologize again for my inconsistencies around here but trust me, there has been so much keeping me off this lovely environment but nevertheless, I won't give up on giving out my personal reports here at any point in time that I am chanced to.
I could remember vividly when @cryptoandcoffee dropped a comment beneath one of my posts in the past saying United would need about four to five years to build the team and be able to challenge for titles again.....
I agreed that United needs a rebuilding but that it would take up the five years? That I couldn't accept even though it's possible if the club's management keeps making the wrong decisions and taking the wrong steps.
As far as everyone who loves and watches football is concern, United had a beautiful run during the pre season only to have two terrible starts in the league.
Immediately after the two painful loses, I began to see different display of frustrations from fans around the world, some were condemning the coach, some the players and some the club owners;
Personally, it was difficult for me to blame anyone, Ten Hag is new to the EPL, and he's also trying to fish out his first eleven, which means he has to risk some matches at the expense of finding those players that could deliver what he truly needs on the pitch.
Our first EPL win of the season against Liverpool was a bang! The win sparks to much in the heart of the fans like myself;
At first, I thought the best that could come from that very match was going to be a draw considering the fact that Liverpool doesn't have some of her key players available. And for me, looking at the line up the that match against Liverpool, one United's defence line kept me happy; as I couldn't see Maguire and Lindelof, I was really calm and sure that there was going to be less casualties in the defence, and low and behold, that was the story!
Now I think it's obvious that the teams mentality has really changed and it's helping but then, my major concern now seems to the the scoring aspect, I feel in the next couple of games, if United is really a team that would deserve to be watched this season, then they've got to win big!
Though United isn't at the bottom of the table anymore but we still owe some goals and having to score more goals now seems to me as one of the major priorities.
At this point, I could boldly say that I love Ten Hag's Managerial Philosophy and why is that? I thought it was a difficult thing to do since the previous managers kind somewhat difficult to bench Maguire even with his lousy mistakes, some could argue that that was no option better than Maguire until now but that would be an argument for another day, now ever got some signings to be proud of!
We've made four major signings so far excluding Anthony that would be joining soon too; it's not just for the signings but what's really making me happy is that fact that these signings though might need time to adapt but they are all worthy of the starting shirts!
So far on the media, Martinez has been the biggest talk of the Red Devils as far as performances are concerned; the Argentine proved himself to be a need in the United's squad against Liverpool.
I knew this guy was good and capable but my fear was, this is EPL, height matters but Martinez is really jumping high to make up for the height he lacks 😂
From my own point of view, Martinez seems be United's best signing to far and I really wish and pray that he succeeds in leaving the team with no option other than selling Maguire off!
There's still so much to catch up with as the league/season is still very much fresh. Perhaps United might not get to lift a trophy this but I'm sure the fans would enjoy watching many of United's matches this season, mark my words!

Martinez racking up two MOTM awards showed class and it's good for his confidence while he settles in nicely. I am super pleased with the win against Liverpool. I watched the highlights more than 10 times and I am not exaggerating. We didn't play our best against Southampton but that's okay because it's about getting the result and we managed to do that. A lot of teams won't play their best and still win. The same with Tottenham against Nottingham Forest yesterday.
I'm glad Anthony is joining soon and it would be nice to have that front fluidity.
I'm just as glad as you are, let's see United running up again!
I have been waiting for it. Let's do this again...yaaaay.
Yeah yeah!
😊😊😊
I'm optimistic about the baby steps I'm noticing about the team. The rebuilding needed to start somewhere and it seems like it's finally started with ETH. There's a clear philosophy in the kind of players he's buying along with a clear pattern of play.
Let's not forget to commend Murtough as well fro getting these deals over the line unlike what we've been seeing in previous seasons
Well, I am glad it's happening, let's just hope for more winnings and more goals.
After watching the performance of Martinez against Liverpool and his most recent performance in the previous game week, I genuinely believe that he can be the start of the big things that will be happening to Manchester United.
Casemiro is also in the team. Jeeezzzz. Haha. If everything goes as planned, Man United will only have to worry about scoring goals.
I think I agree with you, scoring goals is one thing we need to pay much attention to these days.
