Wednesday Walk - Breakfast in Antalya/Kalkan beautiful city center

Our vacation is going wonderfully, and we're capturing photos from every place we visit, collecting these moments to share with you. Whenever we have some free time, we try to share them here. After basking in the sun by the pool for a while, I love surfing on Hive with my laptop and diving into reading posts. It has become part of my morning routine. During my routine today, I discovered a new concept and community called "Wednesday Walk." I'll try to present this post in line with that concept.

We didn't want to preparing breakfast this morning, so we decided to have a nice breakfast together at a cute spot in Kalkan center. While strolling along the coastal road, we found ourselves in a lovely street and chose a place to sit based mostly on the girls' preferences. When the topic comes to aesthetics, it doesn't matter much to us guys since we'll simply eat and leave, but when it comes to the girls, even the flower on the table can play a role in deciding whether we'll stay or not. Not being in the position to think about these things under the scorching heat, we go wherever the girls choose and hope for delicious meals.

Lera always enjoys taking photos, now pays even more attention to capturing moments since we've started creating these travel blog posts. So she feels more serious while taking photos anymore. After taking a moment to look at the menu, we decided to order a "Serpme Kahvaltı" for four. If I need to explain briefly what a "Serpme Kahvaltı" is; It's a variety of dishes served in small portions, covering both sweet and savory options, leaving no empty space on the table.

While we were waiting for our orders we had a nice view and a gentle breeze blowing. Once our orders came, we started to having breakfast.

The price for a Serpme Kahvaltı for two was 400 TL. By the way the photo you see is for 4 people not 2. The menu included a variety of meals such as cheese, olives, pastry rolls, fried patato, jams, and unlimited tea. It was more than enough for all of us and we became totally full after it.

After finishing our breakfast, we decided to have a walk around the area.

We arrived back home, and on our way, we noticed smoke rising from the forest nearby. Since this area is prone to wildfires due to its high temperatures, even the slightest negligence can lead to a fire. Without taking any risks, we immediately called the fire department upon seeing the smoke, regardless of whether it was caused by someone's barbecue. I wasn't sure how to accurately describe the location, so I asked the locals around for the address and managed to provide the necessary information to the authorities. Within 5 minutes, we heard sirens coming. We captured this photo from the balcony, and within 10-15 minutes, the responders arrived and successfully extinguished the fire before it could spread further.

After resting for a while, towards the evening, we created a delightful atmosphere accompanied by the sunset and this beautiful scenery. We enjoyed our evening by sipping our wines, bringing an end to our day.

Наш відпочинок проходить чудово, і ми фотографуємо усе, що бачимо, збираючи ці моменти, щоб поділитися з вами. Коли у нас є вільний час, ми намагаємося робити пости тут. Після засмагання біля басейну, я люблю переглядати Hive на своєму ноутбуці та захоплюватися читанням постів. Це стало частиною мого ранкового ритуалу. Сьогодні ми не хотіли готувати сніданок, тому вирішили поснідати разом з друзями у гарному місці в центрі Калкану. Прогулюючись містом, ми потрапили на затишну вуличку та обрали місце для сніданку, за бажанням дівчат. Коли мова йде про естетику, для нас, хлопців, це не має особливого значення, оскільки ми приходимо суто поїсти, але коли мова йде про дівчат, навіть вазочки с квітами на столі можуть вплинути на наше рішення - залишимося ми тут чи ні. Під пекучим сонцем я не мав змоги думати про це, тому ми йдемо у заклад, що обрали дівчата, і сподіваємося отримати смачну їжу.

Лєра завжди любила фотографувати, і тепер вона приділяє ще більше уваги зйомці, оскільки ми почали створювати ці тревел-блоги. Тому вона стає серйознішою під час зйомки. Після короткого ознайомлення з меню ми вирішили замовити "Серпме Кахвалти" на чотирьох. Якщо коротко пояснити, що таке "Серпме Кахвалти" - це сніданок, який складається з різноманітних страв, що подані у невеликих порціях, і містять як солодкі, так і солоні варіанти; на столі так багато всього, що навіть немає порожнього місця.

Поки чекали на замовлення, ми насолоджувалися чудовим видом та солонуватим вітром. Як тільки з'явився наш сніданок, ми одразу прийнялися за їжу.

Ціна на "Серпме Кахвалти" для двох осіб складала 400 турецьких лір. До речі, на фото ви бачите страви для 4-х осіб. У сніданок входять: декілька видів сиру, яєчня, оливки, солоні рулети, картопля фрі, овочі, мед, варення та безліч чаю. Цього було більше ніж достатньо для всіх нас, і ми повністю наїлися.

Після закінчення сніданку ми вирішили прогулятися по околицях.

На шляху додому помітили дим, що піднімався з лісу поряд. Оскільки цей район схильний до лісових пожеж через жару, навіть найменша недбалість може призвести до пожежі. Без зайвих міркувань, ми одразу ж зателефонували в пожежну службу, незалежно від того, чи виникла пожежа в результаті жари, або ж через людину. Я не був впевнений, як точно описати місце, тому я запитав місцевих жителів про адресу і зумів надати необхідну інформацію пожежникам. Через 5 хвилин ми почули сирену з нашого будинку. Ми зробили це фото з балкона, і вже через 10-15 хвилин пожежники прибули і успішно погасили пожежу, перш ніж вона поширилася далі.

Трохи відпочивши, з приходом вечора, ми створили чарівну атмосферу на нашій терасі, під супровід закату та цього прекрасного виду. Ми насолоджувалися нашим вечором і вином, остаточно завершуючи наш день.
