New images of Deep Space Objects for April
Its been a rather cloudy month and that means no time under the skies but i did manage to get 2 shortish sessions, the image above is that of galaxy M51 aka the whilrpool galaxy, the image has been cropped and it was shot on my Altair Starwave 102ed refractor. I do like this time of year as there is no galaxies on show but the nights are getting shorter.
This target NGC7380 aka The Wizard Nebula is a new target for me and it is v faint, i think it is mag 7 so not visilbe to the eye. The nebula is a stellar nursery where stars are born, this nebula is around 8000 light years away.

Thank you, lot of effort goes into a single image, most images typically take 5 hours + of time
