New camera and trying daytime photography (even old cameras are great sometimes)
Been a cloudy month so the astrophotography is taking a back seat for the moment, i treated myself to a newer DSLR body. I do like a walk on the beach and i saw this wooden structure that would look cool in B&W.
You can see the structure to the right side of this image, i shot this wide angle while stood in the small breakers with my Canon 50mm F1.8 which is a fantastic lens when stepped down a little bit, i am new to day time photography so please be kind with my images.
This is my new camera and when i got it 2 days ago i was shocked how dirty it was when it arrived stinking of cigarette smoke and caked in dust and fluff, even companies on ebay have no pride in products they sell but an hour with cotton swabs and pure alcohol the outside cleaned up nicely and the sensor was clean thankfully. The camera for its age has an 18mp APC sensor so there is some good resolution for images.
I am hoping to get a few more astro sessions this month but the short nights will make it difficult with astro dark ending in the next 2 weeks.
