Making cute giraffes for kids

avatar

Hey guys, today guests arrived at my house early in the morning. The interesting part is that there were some little kids with the guests. All of them were playing since morning, but due to heavy rainfall they could not play outside in the afternoon. So little guests asked me to make something that they could play with. So I decided to make something for them. I had no idea what I should make for them, while Musa (the guest's kid) said a giraffe is his favorite animal. I took color papers and started making giraffe 🦒
Here's how it finally turned out.

Things required

  • computer sheets (yellow and orange)
  • scissor
  • black pointer
  • glue stick

Procedure
Firstly I took two yellow computer sheets and roll them in shape of cone and with the aid of glue stick I keep the borders firm on the paper.

Then I took another orange computer sheet and cut its one forth part , I torn it into small irregular pieces with hand.

After this I started sticking small orange pieces to the yellow cone that I made earlier. This step took a lot of time because sometimes glue got stuck on my hands 😞 and I could not stick the papers together properly. This step was tiring. I was thinking I could not make a little giraffe, but never mind. I succeeded in sticking all of the orange pieces on the yellow cone-shaped giraffe.

Thereafter, I got another piece of yellow paper and cut it into the shape of the face of a giraffe

With scissor I cut four pieces of orange computer sheet. These were made to stick on the head besides ears. I think this part enhanced the overall look of giraffes.

Then, I outlined the mouth area with black pointer and made eyes and also nostrils .

Afterwards I assembled yellow paper of mouth area on the face shaped paper.I affix the orange longitudinal piece on the head area.

Lastly I bond the head part to the conical shaped trunk. I tilted the head rightwards as I believe it was looking more cute this way.

Thereafter I went to Musa and gave him this cute giraffe 🦒. He was so happy and immediately grasped little giraffe in his cute fingers. As he was not the only kids that's why I made two giraffes and gave the other one to his elder sister . They both were enjoying with their new friend 🦒
So guys that was all for today's blog.
See you in next blog

This is so nice, who would have thought one could make a giraffe this beautiful from those sheets? It simply means we all can do anything as long as we set our mind to do it. This is so lovely, to please our little ones can be so difficult but you did it anyway, well done, and thanks for sharing.
