Dark Arborist | Splinterlands

For this week of the Splinterlands art contest. I have decided to make Dark Arborist from Splinterlands cards.

I love the dark spirits in the Splinterlands game. I never know about the dark Arborist before this day I just saw it and I love it this is my first time creating this character myself.

So let's begin with the procedure

Because there is nothing special in the material I simply use the IBiS software.

In the procedure in the very first step I create beautiful outline of the character.

I add the background to enhance the drawing looks and then at the every single small detail in it to complete the whole outline..

As always I start coloring from the hairs. I choose the blue color for his hairs because the original character here's contain the blue and light blue color in the shading.

First I told I should create his face into the purple color because original character contain the purple body color along with the skin color light effect on it. Once i do it but I think that I made it into the human version so I cannot colored it into the purple color instead of it I use the skin color to color all over his body and for his eyes first I do the green color in his pupil and then white in the remaining portion of the eyes. Do complete his facial features I add his lips in the dark blue color as the original character have.

One of the hardest thing I do is to make the his mushroom cap this is the finest thing that give me the satisfying results I wasn't expecting it coming out so good isn't it beautiful I love its color the dark blue and the light blue combinations give the best color.

In the next step I color the light blue color under the cap and static coloring his clothes into the dark and the light blue color.

In this step I have colored his hairs in which I choose the black color together into his clothes and use some shades of blue to make his dress well defined.

The last thing is to outline the shirt I made into the light blue tone and and and last thing is to color the ball he handed in his hands I don't know how to create light effect around the ball so I simply use that pen who gave it this kind of the effect around it I just forgot the name of that pen. 🙂 I don't know why I forget things so much. By the way my drawing is complete and it is on the way to the contest I wish me best of luck for the contest.
