I have to admit i am a gamer :), But still i love sports and i hate it to not move my body. A few days without sport and my back is aching. My usual sport is Badminton, which i play weekly with friends. But for me this is not enough.

I mostly work from home. I visit the office max once per week. During the last years i used the lunch break for biking ~20km during the lunch break. But now i got more and more meetings and it is not this easy to be out of the house for > 1h. But still i do not want to miss sports so i had a look at Quell.

What is Quell

Simply said you get two wii like controllers, a usb receiver stick, a chest pod, a belt, two straps which will be connected to the belt, two wrist straps which will be connected to the resistance straps.

So the first time you play a game with Quell you will put on the belt, put in the pod in the belt. Then wear the wrist straps. And then connect the resistance straps with the belt and your wrist straps. I have to admit that this feels very weird the first time.

How about the Game(s)

Well currently there is only one game it is called "Shardfall". You usually start with running and then jumping over obstacles or you have to doge or have to sprint. And then there are enemy encounters where you have to use various tactics. These tactics include punches like jabs, uppercuts and hooks. You can block and also use some weird mana skills.

How does it actually fell

Well there are still issues with the controls, but in general it is very motivating. And which is probably what you want to read it is a good workout. For me it is a quality time during lunch break. I feel it the next day and it makes me happy :)

Never heard of it, but it looks quite cool... going to check some vids on YT :)

Doing exercises while playing would be very nice, as I struggle too in finding the time to do sport, a workout or, sometimes, even a walk... the only major issue is that I don't have the time to play videogames either 😅

A session is ~ 20 minutes so it fits quite good in my lunch break :D !LOLZ

You make me think of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology, like the one seen in “Ready Player One”, which actually already has some attempts to make it marketable, at least that is what I found in the article at https://www.businessinsider.nl/ready-player-one-technology-vs-real-life-2018-3?international=true&r=US
