Game Development - Mentor Request

Light Bulb Moment...

The other night my wife was playing a game she likes. It is a regular web 2 game, but the more I paid attention to it, the more I realized how easy it would be to develop a #Blockchain based game with the same concept. Now this is where I do not reveal too much about the game, for intellectual property protection, but just allow me to say a few things about it, without revealing too much, of course.

1. The game "Genre" is very popular on web 2.
2. The game would easily be adoptable to #NFT items. Not only tools, but also property ownership.
3. The game would have many opportunities for marketing with outside sponsors.
4. I have not yet seen a Blockchain game yet based on this genre.

Blockchain Gaming...

Now, this is what I understand about blockchain gaming. Basically, a website is designed, and there are smart contracts behind the "items" that are clickable on the website. The "item" slots are filled by NFTs, again through smart contracts. The smart contracts run the game behind the scenes based on timing. Maybe I am completely wrong about that, I do not know.

What I do Know...

I have a BAS in Digital Media Creation, I have created, on #WAX an NFT collection, Hack O' Lanterns but do not know anything about smart contracts other than the easy ones on WAX. I am more proficient in Adobe Suite, and am excellent at Marketing. I am willing to get on the phone and get things done.

That is what this post is about, if you are interested in this idea, leave a comment and we can discuss there how to further things. I do not want to invest time into developing a Discord, etc. if I am not able to talk with people that are bringing something to the table, at least at first, especially when I know I lack the skills by myself at this time to pull something like this off myself.
