Welcome... I think the best might be for you to introduce yourself into the chain, if you are also new to #hive and that will basically get you some great initial attention.
Then you just be you and check on as much things from everyone that you enjoy. Learn, curate (aka voting) and have fun around while learning the technology.
And if you are trying to get some answers, don't hesitate to ask questions. People eventually reponds. I am happy to be tagged if you think you are going nowhere.
Also, let me know any other #web2 accounts of yours... :D
