Week 28 is here, and I’m excited to share my cover of “Killing Me Softly with His Song,” inspired by The Fugees’ rendition. This song is about the unexpected power of music—how a single voice, a simple melody, can feel so personal that it exposes your deepest emotions. It tells the story of someone who comes to listen out of curiosity but is completely undone by the raw honesty of the performer, as if he’s singing her very own pain and memories.
