WHAT MAKES MY HEART SING || Week 2 of Dreemer of the Year challenge

We are all unique beings who have an interest in different unique activities. Our different love for things makes us unique. Many things make my heart sings, those things that get my pulse racing in excitement but I feel like discussing just one aspect. A part I love so much whenever it happens, I choose this particular one because I had another exciting encounter with it just yesterday and my heart kept singing...I can still hear the music 🎶🎵🎶, can you?😉😍

I know that by now, your ears might be itching to hear this one thing 👌, but worry not...it's here! One of the things that make my heart sing is an act of gratitude. Surprised? Relax and journey with me for more clarification 🤗.

I love it when someone shows me gratitude for anything I did. It might be a task assigned to me or just my free will services. Of course, I know that God is the rewarder but as humans, when you are being appreciated for a job well done, it motivates you to do more. It's also a sign that I did something nice, something commendable, and receiving gratitude will lift my spirit and the eagerness to keep doing more.

Take for instance my home, my husband is the head of the family and I am his helpmate, his support engine and I try as much as possible to give him the support he needed to keep running our home. Whenever he recognizes this support and appreciates me, my heart sings 😇. My pulse races in excitement each time I get positive feedback on different tasks assigned to me in different organizations. The truth is that I love being appreciated, I don't know about you but this is just me sincerely speaking. It's been something that gives me high motivation over whatever good I am doing and I love it.

Get to know my favorite memory on this...

A few years ago, one of my friends and her husband pleaded with me to help them buy their Son's shoes in the market since I was going to buy one for my son that same day. I did but unfortunately, it wasn't the size of the boy. I felt bad and told them that I am going to return the shoes to the seller and choose another one that should size the boy. This market is located in a very far place from where we reside. The transportation fare is always on the high side. I took the stress of going back to return the shoes and also paid the transportation fare myself. Honestly, I didn't see this little sacrifice as anything but then, the couple I did this to, took it as a very large sacrifice. They told me the size of shoes they wanted and I bought exactly that size but it didn't work out, so to them... undergoing such stress again with my own money and time worth appreciating. They appreciated me handsomely that day, like 10 times the transport fare I spent with other sweet words so soothing in my heart. It didn't end there, since that day, the man liked everything about me and on different occasions, he has put smiles on my face and my heart kept singing 😍

So yesterday, I received a call from the wife to visit their house if I can. Surprisingly, the man still remembers that little sacrifice I did for his son years back. He has shopped for my 3 boys .. beautiful wears with cash gifts 🎁...I was wowed 🤭🤭🤭🤭,..my heart kept singing uncontrollably over an act of gratitude. I love this and it's a great motivation for me to keep doing good wherever I found myself and I will try my best to inculcate this habit in my kids as well.
