Roll up.. Roll up.. Exploring an Abandoned Fairground Graveyard..

All the fun of the fair.. Well, a big scrap yard full of it anyway 😊 ide known about this for a while and passed one day with some spare time so I tackled the brambles and made my way in..

All manner of old machines were dotted about.. I used to love Hook a duck when I was small 😊 back when you could win a goldfish in a bag.. do they still do that?

Poor Thomas the tank was parked on his roof and Rosie an Jim sinking in the overgrowth..

All sorts of rides just left scattered across the yard. Two boats that were used to amuse people on the river obviously no good anymore had found their resting place.. some of the bigger rides Octopus and twister both I used to love but scare me to death now 😁

The old slot machines and reels were stored in a shed along with a horses cart? odd.. and reems of tickets you can exchange for little toys..

Bags of toys mostly eaten by rats or damaged by the weather were all over the yard.. and lots of 2ps left in the bottom of the machines and on the ground..

All sorts of whacky tacky stuff was lying around.

Time to go.. this was a really fun explore.. I've found out that the yard is used to dump broken or out of date fair ground rides and games.. every now and again they go in and crush the lot!.. on my way out I did have a bit of a scare as a mannequins head was staring at me from the bushes!
