Monomad: Green VS Black and White

This is my entry to the #monomad contest by @monochromes.

Being honest, I didn't used to use black and white, because I lack talent and study in photography and even more in editing. People often see black and white and think that it's just a filter, that the application does the job, that it's just a click. I know that is not the case, there are many ways to take a black and white, that make it change. Contrast, brightness, highlights, shadows and many more that I don't even know. Black and white for me is something to be treated with delicacy. Besides I used to think that street photography and some portraits were what looked good in black and white, but seeing some photographs of this community, I realize that no, there are more, and that someday I will have to learn, so even if they are bad now, in the future they will improve. And I got into the hobby of turning everything black and white, to see how it looks. The victim in this case was a plant that I like a lot in my garden. I hope you like them.

Siendo sincera, no solía usar blanco y negro, porque me falta talento y estudio en fotografía y más aún en edición. Las personas suelen ver el blanco y negro y pesar que sólo es un filtro, que la aplicación hace el trabajo, que solo es un clic. Yo se que no es el caso, hay muchas formas de llevar un blanco y negro, que lo hacen cambiar. El contraste, el brillo, las altas luces, las sombras y muchas más que ni conozco. El blanco y negro para mi es algo que hay que tratar con delicadeza. Aparte que solía pensar que la fotografía callejera y algunos retratos eran lo que se veía bien en blanco y negro, pero viendo algunas fotografías de esta comunidad, me doy cuenta que no, que hay más, y que algún día voy a tener que aprender, así que aunque ahora sean malas, en un futuro mejoraran. Y me entró la afición de volverlo todo blanco y negro, para ver como se ve. La víctima en este caso fue una planta que me gusta mucho de mi jardín. Espero les gusten.
