Whole Wheat Pasta with Turmeric Tomato Sauce🍽️

I hope all is well with everyone.

I'm having a lazy day today. And my food preference for such days is usually delicious pasta.

Today, I filled my stomach with delicious pasta with turmeric and tomatoes and I wanted to share it with you.

Making plans is one of the habits that make life easier. It keeps me organized both at work and in the kitchen.

Unless my mood changes and I don't feel like eating something else, I don't have to think about what to eat or what to do today.

I am both:)) I have this problem from time to time. I try to plan the week to avoid it.
When I do my kitchen shopping according to this plan, I can prepare a menu for a week without any problems.

I love to visit food websites, I watch programs.
And I regularly follow especially Hive Food to see what all my friends are cooking.
Isn't it great that we are guests in the kitchens of our friends all over the world.
I like it very much. It's fun to read about different food cultures.

Eating pasta is one of the most fun food activities. Isn't it a very delicious food. And it goes well with all kinds of sauces.
I can't even distinguish which pasta I prefer the most.
I think the answer is all of them.

For tonight, I'm going to go with tomato and turmeric pasta cooked in its own sauce.
I even eased my conscience by using whole wheat pasta to eat more and regret less:))

The ingredients I used for this recipe;

Grated tomato
Tomato sauce
Tomato Paste
A little hot sauce
Butter
turmeric
Black Pepper
Salt
Garlic
Whole wheat pasta

Recipe;

I started by putting the grated tomatoes in a large saucepan. After warming up a bit, I added the tomato sauce.

I put tomato paste and hot sauce on it. the role of tomato paste here is to provide a little flavor and a more colorful pasta.

I add a little oil and a little butter to the sauce and cook it. Butter is definitely a factor that increases the flavor. I use butter in most recipes. At this stage I added half a grated garlic clove.

Then I move on to seasoning. I used about two teaspoons of turmeric for this. Turmeric has a lot of proven benefits, and since I know this, it is among the spices I pay attention to use. And in this recipe, its harmony with tomatoes was great.

Of course, I do not forget to add salt and black pepper, which come to mind first when I think of spices.

Instead of boiling the pasta separately, I cook it in the pot with the sauce. It retains its nutritional value and has a moist and moist texture. I like this. I added water to thicken the sauce and when I tasted it, I realized that it needed a little more turmeric and added turmeric.

I think a melting cheese should definitely be the binding agent in pasta with sauce. I like to use cheddar cheese in my pasta, so I added grated cheddar cheese to the sauce.

Lastly, I added the pasta and after stirring, I covered the lid and cooked it over low heat.
Normally pasta cooks in about 8 minutes on high heat, but I extended this process a little longer on low heat because it is an important detail for the sauce to penetrate the pasta.

And the pasta cooked as soft as I wanted. The color, smell and taste are wonderful. I can't wait to eat it.

I served it hot while it was still steaming.
And a big plate full of delicious pasta is ready.

Yes, it sits in my stomach after eating, but it is impossible to wait:))
