Tiny Salty Cookies 😍
Hello everyone💛
Welcome back to my kitchen, everyone reading this post:)
The first day of the week started well and I hope the whole week will be good.
I wish everyone a syndrome-free Monday.
Today I prepared small salty cookies that can be easily prepared in five minutes and they were very delicious.
I used blue poppy seeds to give them crunch. Black cumin seeds can also be used, but I prefer poppy seeds because the taste of black cumin is more dominant.
I love simple snacks prepared at home because I like to have a little something with my drink at tea time in the office, at home, anywhere.
I always keep a jar of these cookies on my kitchen counter because they are so simple to prepare.
I get a huge jar of cookies from a tiny dough.
It is definitely preferable especially for children. Packaged products should definitely be replaced by mom recipes. Instead of unhealthy junk food, you can offer these salty snack cookies to children while watching TV or studying.
It is always better to use margarine when making cookies. It makes the cookie crispier. I don't like to use margarine. I definitely prefer to make cookies with butter because I love the smell of it in cookies, but when I use butter, the cookies I make turn from innocence to calories. So I try to mitigate this by using olive oil. I think it works, I eat as much as I want during the day and I have less regrets:)
The ingredients for these five-minute cookies are quite simple
-1 tea glass of olive oil
-Only the white of 1 egg
-1 spoonful of powdered sugar
-1 pinch of salt
-1 teaspoon of vinegar
-Blue poppy seeds
-Half a packet of baking powder
-Approximately 1.5 cups flour
Recipe:
I think this recipe might be easier to make than to write:)
Separate the yolk and white of the egg.
Put all ingredients except flour in a bowl and mix.
Adjust the consistency by adding flour gradually.
When you get a soft dough that does not stick to your hands, it is done.
Let the dough rest for a while
Then shape them into small bites.
Brush the shaped cookies with egg yolk.
Place on greaseproof paper and bake in a 180 degree oven until the tops are golden brown.
Let them cool a little and enjoy, that's all:)
Bon Appetit
