Hello everyone, this week I bring you a drawing I made of Naga Assassin. The most challenging part for me was the face; I kept overlaying layer after layer of skin until I had something I liked. Hola a todos, para esta semana les traigo un dibujo que hice de naga assasin, lo que mas me costó hacer fué el rostro, me pasé superponiendo una capa tras otra de piel hasta tener algo que me guste, espero tambien les guste este pequeño fanart, muchas gracias por pasarse por mi post, realmente lo aprecio. ^^

For this piece, I used a Genius Wizard Pen Tablet 5x4.

Para esta obra, usé una tableta Genis Wizard Pen 5x4.

My drawings are entirely drawn in Paint Tool Sai because this software have the best compatibility with my tablet.

Mis dibujos son completamente hechos en Paint Tool Sai porque este programa tiene la mejor compatibilidad con mi tableta.

I started by sketching, it's a bit messy because for this piece, I won't need to outline it.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, es un poco desordenado porque para esta obra no voy a necesitar delinearlo.

Now I apply darker colors as a base for each part of the character.

Ahora pongo los colores mas oscuros como base para cada parte del personaje.

I start by applying new layers with gradients, while also trying to get a more precise idea of how the lighter and darker parts will be distributed.

Comienzo aplicando nuevas capas con degradados, y a su vez trato de darme una idea mas precisa de como van a ir distribuidas las partes mas claras, y las mas oscuras.

Then, I add layers with clearly colors, to give depth, also I draw the scales in the tail.

Entonces añado capas con colores claros, para dar profundidad, también dibujo escamas en la cola.

I add lighting effects with my airbrush, making it clear that the sunlight is coming from the left. As you can see, I also duplicated the scale layer to give it some depth.

Añado efectos luminicos con mi aerografo, haciendo notar que la luz solar viene desde la izquierda, también como podrán observar, dupliqué la capa de las escamas para darle algo de profundidad.

Here, I added a grainy effect to the scales. I achieved this by applying a lot of lines and dots using colors that match the scale's color. This way, I make it appear as if it has a texture.

Aqui añadí un efecto como granulado sobre las escamas, esto lo logré poniendo un monton de rayas y puntos, usando colores que combinen con el color de la escama, de esta manera hago parecer que tiene una textura.

For the eyes, I added layers with overlay effects, highlights, and shadows.

Para los ojos añadí capas con efectos de superposición, brillo y sombra.

Then,I put a blue color like the color base for the background.

Entonces puse un color azulado como el color base para el fondo.

I apply some gradient to give the feeling that there is atmosphere.

Aplico algo de degradado para dar la sensación de que hay atmosfera.

With my airbrush, I draw the color base of the sea.

Con mi aerografo, dibujo el color base del mar.

Also I make the details with different tones, with my airbrush, and the effect of waves with the ink brush.

Tambien, hago los detalles con diferentes tonos, con mi aerografo, y el efecto de ondulaciones con mi pluma.

Finally, I add some gradient to simulate the presence of the sun, and with the airbrush, I create both the small sun rays and the clouds. For the clouds, I use two shades. That's all, thank you very much for your attention. Please let me know what you think so that I can continue to improve. ^^

Finalmente agrego algo de degradado para simular la presencia del sol, y con el aerografo hago tanto los pequeños rayos solares como las nubes, para las nubes utilizo 2 tonalidades. Eso sería todo, muchas gracias por su atención, comentenme que tal les ha parecido para poder seguir mejorando. ^^
