Strengthening my Splinterlands deck with some summoners.
When there is blood on the streets, you soak it up.
Crypto has been quiet and splinterlands prices have been bleeding for the past year but here we are. Still alive after all of the blood loss.
Compared to 90% of other crypto's out there, it's an achievement in itself not to have gone burst.
Struggles. Yes, but the team have managed to ride them out so far. Then released land and rebellion. Not a small feat while trying to survive.
But it seems like a lot of people are trying to either sell out of the game or raise funds for rebellion so chaos prices have come way down.
With that in mind and almost a full chaos legion set I have decided to switch to modern for a while and see how i go.
I was buying rebellion packs for my wagons but looking at the market there were some bargains that i just couldn't pass up on.
Some great deals to be had in here.
For $100 two maxed out legendary summoners. It was a no brainer really and one that will definitely go up in value over time. If i had the funds i would soak up a lot more singles and hold for a few years but i put a lot into rebellion and land.
There are also some riftwatchers that i still need.
Either way these will be two big additions to my team and when i put all of my wild cards on the rental market hopefully they will earn a bit more to keep stacking my deck. I'm only missing 5 legendary summoners for a completed deck and at these prices might just go for it.
The same happened a couple of years ago when a few big players dumped their cards and we picked them up for a fraction of their top prices. Ironically just before the last bull market and all of the cards went about 20x in value.
If there is any chance of that happening again that would be great.
Try for yourself.
If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

I didn't know the Chaos were that cheap. Must buy a few myself
Prices are really low right now.
If I hadn't so much ties up in land I would buy more but a great time to stack.
Question for you. I purchased a plot and built an SPS workshop thing. I soon realised the amount of grain needed to feed my workers was much more than what I was getting in SPS so until you have multiple plots then SPS farming is a no go. So I switched to grain and I am happy out now mining this. So the question is I have loads of grain. What do I do with it. The is not option to convert grain to DEC. So now I'm like the EU sitting on a grain mountain.
Best solution would be to find someone to buy directly off you. There is probably a market for it on discord but P2P is always risky and you lose 12% in taxes when you transfer.
Other than that not sure.
How much is a lot?
Cards are cheap right now it's a good time to add. I keep buy when I have a little extra.
A great chance to build a strong deck.
My thoughts exactly
vEry nice! I actually picked up a good portion of some of those myself last night. Always nice to max out some summoners
Especially the legendary ones.
They tend to get very expensive over time.

cant believe 2 bought 2 max leg summoners for just around 150$, if chaos cards pump you will gain a pretty good return
