Where I Hang Out on Hive

The Hive ecosystem has grown to be a home for all Hivers as it welcomes people from all walks of life. One reason I love being on Hive is that fact that you get to meet different people from all around the world who are always ready to share ideas with you in different regards. The good part of all this is that no one forces you to do something you’re not ready for.

The Hive ecosystem houses so many communities with different purposes of which hivers are allowed to join if their interest is piqued. Speaking of communities on the blockchain, I belong to quite a number of them because I have an interest in various things and I enjoy sharing my views on diverse topics. Regardless, there’s always those communities one is most dominant in. I believe it’s best to find a community that matches your personal niche and take it from there as it just doesn’t make sense to be everywhere at the same time. It’s more like you tend to loose your sense of direction at some point.

I would say, I am very active in two communities due to so many reasons and these communities are the HiveGhana and the Hive learners community. I’m Ghanaian so it just makes sense to promote my country in the blockchain. Most people don’t know much about Ghana and our culture and it’s always exciting sharing bits of my country with others who also love to explore. The Hive Ghana community welcomes so many people from various countries and it’s always fun interacting with others on our weekly prompts. Not to forget our community hangouts which brings everyone together to bond and also share ideas on how to develop ourselves and our community at large.

My journey in the Hive learners community has also been a very great one. I actually had a rough start with the community in terms of registration but I didn’t give up. I persevered and finally got accepted to be a member. Like most communities on Hive, Hive learners community has weekly writing prompts for members to share their views on and it always eye opening to share ideas , learn , unlearn and relearn while also meeting new people through these prompts.

Regardless, I also make sure to explore other communities on the blockchain as you never know what may spark my light. But for now, I would say these are the communities I’m most active in and they have grown to become more like my home or safe space on the Hive ecosystem over the years.

Which community are you most active in on the Hive ecosystem? How did you discover them and what made you stick to them till date? Who knows, I might discover something fascinating there.

Hive has given us that freedom to be wherever we are provided they piqued our interests just like you said. I am most active on Hive Learners and some other communities. Time and work has been depriving me of staying more active like before and hope to return back.
