Making Life a Little Easier

Do you experience those days when you are about to depart to bed and you feel you wasted the whole day away. If you do, then it means you don’t really have your day in order.

Most of us don’t really know what we’re doing in life, we are still trying to figure stuff out and that’s okay. But, in as much as we are trying to figure life out, we ought to make the days count.

With the kind of schedule I have these days, I feel 24 hours a day is really not enough for me. I’m constantly racing with time. Trying to get things done before this time, having to show up at this place at this time and all of that. Honestly, it’s all a mess but it feels a lot better because I have some petty things I put in place to make things easier for me.

Today, I want to share a few everyday life hacks I use in my day to day activities with you. Maybe they can help make your life better.

WAKE UP EARLY

One thing most people consider not to be important is waking up early. Growing up, my dad always made sure everyone at home was up early at dawn to do all their stuff before daybreak. This way, we wouldn’t be in a rush to bath or even find one shoe when we are just about to leave for school.

I’m not really a morning person but these days, I prioritise waking up at dawn because at these times most of us tend to be more productive. Imagine having to stay up late to finish up work in this hot weather. Why not sleep and wake up at dawn when it’s cool and calm. Your brain would be refreshed and ready for work. I bet you, you’d find out that you’re able to cover so much in just a short time. With this, you wouldn’t feel so much pressure during the day because you did most of your work when others were fast asleep.

HAVE A DAILY SCHEDULE/ROUTINE

Do you have a plan for everyday you wake up to or you just figure things out as the day goes by. I believe in being organized and I think that everyone’s life would be much more easier if they had a daily schedule.

Coming up with schedule doesn’t take even up to 5 minutes. All you need is to have a list of activities you aim to undertake during the day with the time you wish you do them. It’s more like following a protocol.

Basically, you’ll know for example that you need to go pick up your kids at 4:00pm, pass by the grocery shop at 4:30 and pick up your stuff from your seamstress at 5:00pm. We need to note that, we must try our best to set a realistic schedule. Time is valuable and how you spend your time says a lot about you. Having a daily schedule is all about discipline. You don’t schedule an activity for a particular time and end up sleeping during that time.

BUY IN BULK

Looking at the way our economy is these days, everyone can agree with me that things are hard. It’s not like it used to be those days. Things are way more expensive now and with each passing day it gets worse.

One life hack I’ve learnt the hard way is buying in bulk. I used to complain about not having money to buy a box of this or that, so I’d rather go out and buy one piece anytime I needed it which I eventually realised wasn’t helping my finances.

We all aspire for financial stability and the first step to attaining it is to be wise in our spending. Buying groceries, toiletries and petty household stuff in bulk is more than a life hack, it’s a life saver. Anyone looking to make their life easier should give this a try. You might say you don’t have money to buy in bulk but I know you do, you’re just thinking you could use your money for something else. Nope, don’t do that.😅



Life itself is already hard. The best we can do for ourselves is to try to make this life thing easier. I hope these tips of mine can help change someone’s life today .

All you mentioned are indeed useful life hacks which everyone should copy. You see this buying in bulk, I can't even describe how much it has helped me in life. This is one of the hacks I learnt from my mom.

You do so well with these schedules you have.
I’ve literally spent the whole weekend on my fone and sleeping with a thousand thousand thoughts in my head. Whilst my pc is right there with all the work I need to do.

😂😂the weekend is like 2 minutes these days.

I’ve had a hectic week and I didn’t even get to sleep until last night. I woke up around 11:00am feeling a bit better. This adult thing isn’t for us.

I do experience those days actually when at the end I know I just wasted the whole day because I have achieved little or nothing especially on matchdays but what you listed out are actually important life hacks....
Daily routine and planning is what I don't joke with however because it helps you a lot in making life easier and achieving a lot also

I know how guys can be with football. They can literally spend the whole day stuck on the Tv but you still have to find a balance.
