Collectible Gems at the Louwman Museum

Trust you’re having an amazing week, I am too and I’m very delighted to share my travel experience with you all today. In my last previous post we took a look at what the Louwman museum holds especially when it came to cars, carriages and many more.

From the look of things ,the museum actually holds so much but I’m going to have to box everything else in todays post. So, let’s call it our final lap on our tour to the Louwman museum. Today, let’s dive into collectibles in the museum and what they mean.

Honk honk honk! As we can see, this js a collection of horns of cars used in the olden days. I would say I’m particularly moved by the gold color, maybe they were polished before beimh stored in the museum as they hold very neat.

Now, let’s talk about these breathtaking lamps. I wonder how much one would have costs then as these look very catching. I don’t think modern cars make use of such lamps anymore but it would be nice to come across one.

I believe these to be the garmets worn by the people of ancient days. You can see vividly that these coats were made from high quality fur. I wouldn’t say I know much about coats and hand gloves but just by looking at them, i know they must have cost a fortune.

How nice it is to get see such ancient spoons in real life. I mean, I’ve seen so many spoons with different designs but these give me a different feeling.
If you look closely behind the spoons, you’d see some toy cars but when you take a closer look, you’d realize these toy cars are actually pin holders. Thess look more like something only women from familys in the automobile business can have access to. What a nice way to store your hair pins and what have you.

Imagine saving jewellery your in cars. Must be nice, really. If I should get to enjoy this kind of luxury, I sure will need a huge ass jewellery car for my jewellery.

I really don’t know how i would react if my seamstress or tailor should pull out a tape measure from a mini car. I would look surprised but I sure would ask about where i could get one. Not that i would have any use for it, just for fashion.🤭

These days, I have been learning a lot about cars, how they function and what have you. So, from my car experience, this right here is a car oil. Whether its engine oil, or oil for hobs and what have you, I have no idea.

There’s actually a lot more to see, but I’m going to share pictures of them so you can a look for yourself.

On this note, I’m happy to say that we have finally come to the end of our tour through the Louwman museum.
