A Screenplay of My Online Life

At this point in my life, I don’t really know if I have a digital life anymore because I really don’t have much use for my gadgets anymore and even if I do, I don’t have time to even be on them. The little time I have to be on my phone or laptop will be to either read articles or other stuff or to watch movies.

Talking about movies, if my life should be a movie, I bet you would be so glued to this movie as it will be both nerve-racking and fun to watch. You’d be so curious to know the main characters next move and how things would turn out that you wouldn’t even want to get engaged in anything again. However, we are not producing any movie from my life but, what we can produce a movie from today will be my digital life with me being the director.

For the genre of this movie, I would say it would be more of a sci-fi/drama/comedy/documentary because most of the things I do online these days are more of research and work stuff with a bit of comedy and a lot of drama in a way. I don’t love drama, but it always finds it’s way to- maybe because I can be dramatic at times. This movie would feature my phone being the main character and me being its mother. The introduction of this movie would be about the main character just waking up from bed and checking what’s happening in the world.

It would go on a short break and the come back to try to catch up with the rest of the world by trying to be nice to people through conversations on social media which it’s most likely to leave hanging for the rest of the day. Next, it would get straight to work and would probably be on DND for a while. It would go on short break again to watch and share some videos with friends and have a good laugh with a few people. Then, it’s just going to go on a break once again for a the rest of the day because it’s mom is busy and when it comes back to life again, it would probably just stay glued on the latest book it’s reading and eventually die because mom is fast asleep.

Now….cut! Go again! Moms awake and so phone is awake. Now, we are on hive, checking what’s going on, interacting with others and having fun and after that, we call our friends and family to have a good laugh and get updates on the latest drama since we can’t keep up with everything. By now, it’s probably night time and it’s time for some me time so we go back to our book and spend about an hour having fun reading until it’s time to sleep or we eventually dose off. We wake up the next day and phone is dead cos mom forgot to feed to before sleeping.😂

But don’t worry, we can always raise the dead in this situation and so phone will be resurrected in no time with some phone defibrillators and we are back to our normal routine.
