A Rainy Morning's Cleanup
Good morning, friends.
It's lovely weather over here. It poured heavily last night, making the weather cool, and I overslept. I woke up quite late and hurriedly attended to my chores, which include sweeping the compound, helping to prepare breakfast, and sometimes fetching water. I didn't fetch water this morning as it had rained, and we still had some left, so I just swept the compound while my sister prepared breakfast.
After eating my breakfast, which consisted of tea and bread, I quickly rushed to do some other cleaning. I picked up my trash bucket and bag to gather some litter from a nearby street. After I was done, I headed back home to take my bath and leave for the office. Since I was running late, I felt discouraged from going, but there was no power supply at home, and my devices were off, so I headed out.
I was so disappointed when I got to the office and there was no power supply there as well. My boss suggested we turn on the generator, which we did, but the network over here is terrible, and I haven't done a single work. I have been sleeping since I arrived, hoping the network gets better before the end of the day so I can get some work done.
