South Korean prosecutors said on Monday that Interpol had officially issued a red notice against Project Terra founder Do Kwon after he fled Singapore.

As a result, the price of Terra Classic (LUNC) and Terra (LUNA) have both fallen by nearly 20% and 15% in the last 24 hours, respectively.

INTERPOL issues a Red Notice against the founder of Project Terra:

The South Korean District Attorney's Office revealed on September 26 that Interpol had accepted a request to issue a red notice against the founder of Project Terra.

Interpol has notified police in 195 countries around the world to hand Do Kwon over to the South Korean authorities.

South Korean prosecutors had earlier issued arrest warrants for Do Kwon and five others.

In addition, prosecutors revoked Do Kwon's passport and placed other Terra executives in a travel ban to investigate and take legal action against them in a South Korean court.

The founder of The Terra Project and its subsidiaries are accused of violating the Capital Market Act.

South Korean prosecutors have launched a new investigation into whether Terra Classic (LUNC) and other Terra digital currencies are securities.

The investigation team also conducted investigations into allegations of fraud, money laundering and tax evasion.

Last week, prosecutors refuted Do Kwon's statement that he is not a fugitive and is cooperating with South Korean authorities.

However, prosecutors maintain that he is a fugitive since the Terra-LUNA project crisis in May.

Prosecutors have asked Interpol to issue a red notice against Do Kwon after Singapore police confirmed he had left the country.

The price of the digital currency LUNC fluctuated with the news, as it fell below $0.0002 and then, at the time of preparing this article, the price rebounded and rose by 24%, as if the news of the issuance of the red notice against the founder of the Terra project was positive news?!.
