Friday's story and Loi Krathong festival

Hello everyone.
How are you? I hope everyone is well and has a good day every day. Today is Friday, the weekend and the children are happy to have a day off. And today is another important day for Thai people, which is Loi Krathong. Loi Krathong is a tradition that has been passed down since ancient times in Thailand. No matter where Thai people live, they still remember these traditions. Today, my children and I are very happy to go float Krathong, even though Loi Krathong is not very popular in Malaysia. But there will be an activity for only Thai people living in Malaysia. The kids woke up this morning feeling excited and hopeful that they would be able to float the krathongs tonight. At 7am I sent my eldest daughter to school. Then at 7:40am I sent my youngest daughter to school again. After that I went back to do some housework and made breakfast for my daughter to come back from school. Then I went up to do some housework like mopping the floor, doing the laundry, etc. which are the chores that I have to do every day. While I was folding the clothes, I remembered that I should check if the Thai temple in Malaysia is holding a Loy Krathong event this year. When I checked the Facebook page of the Thai temple in Malaysia, I was a little disappointed because this year the temple did not hold a Loy Krathong event.

After noon, my daughter came back from school and she was very hungry, so I found food for her to eat. After that, I told my daughter that today we will not go to Loi Krathong because there is no place to organize Loi Krathong in Malaysia this year. I mean in the state where I live. The children looked disappointed because they thought they would be able to go to Loi Krathong but they did not go as they had hoped. I could only comfort my daughter that maybe next year there will be an event and we can go to Loi Krathong. She seemed to have a little more hope. Loi Krathong is a good activity that no matter where Thai people are, they want to continue the culture of Thai traditions, whether it is Loi Krathong, Songkran or even other Thai traditions.
And this is our small activity today, living a normal life and not going to float the krathong as we had hoped, haha, but it's okay, we still have hope, next year we will probably be able to float the krathong with them. Thank you to my friends who stopped by to read my article today.
Thank you for your good following and support all along. See you again in the next article, for today, bye bye to all my friends.
