Creating the Style and Identity of BasketBolaji Animations

Like some of you probably know, I started BasketBolaji Comics some months back and only wanted to focus on making one page comic pieces with punchlines and stuff because I needed a way to satisfy my urge to create 2d without making animated videos.

That failed woefully, I've only been able to make a few comic pieces and I can't continue because the urge to make an animated video is too strong. All the ideas I have for comics I can't fight the urge to make them into animated videos.

So I give up.

And I'm going to focus on videos even though they are a lot more time consuming. I wouldn't worry about how few times I get to make them in the month but I just can't keep using the ideas for just one page comics when I can make a video instead.

So, to make a video I've sat down and spent some time creating the Style the BasketBolaji brand would be known for. It's going to be the simple 2d animation style. First of all I've chosen a background color:

It feels so good to settle with a style and color and all that, so much thought and choosing went into this and now there's a conclusion. Great!
