Fungi Friday | Lactarius deliciosus
If you like NEON colours i am sure you will love theese souper yummy mushrooms!
Actually they called "Deliciosus Lactarius" mushrooms !!!!
According to wikipedia: "Lactarius deliciosus, commonly known as the saffron milk cap and red pine mushroom, is one of the best known members of the large milk-cap genus Lactarius in the order Russulales. It is found in Europe and has been accidentally introduced to other countries under conifers. " 1
We found them in a trip, that you can see also in my latest profile post, in which you can find more about the forest and the experience we had.
So look at this lovely orange colour!!!
This kind of mushroom has a liquid inside, like i wrote before, something like milk...and this liquid has to be orange colour if you want to eat it. Otherwise, if it has white colour don't try it because it can be toxic ! ! ! ⚠️
We were lucky enouqh to find many edible of them for a special dinner.
And nowww it's the time to show you the gastronomy beyond Lactarious Mushrooms.... 😋
After cleaning (never with water just with a little dustpan like this above), we cutted them into pieces, added some garlic and right into the oven and the result....
Taraaaa....whaaat? I thoought we had more.... hahaha they obviously shranked...!!! 😅
That's life! you can't have everything.. .but we had the pleasure to taste this delicious recipe 😋
** We added some balasamic oil in the end for extra taste. 👌

So it can be toxic if the liquid is white? It's good to know if we ever find this kind of mushroom :)
It looks delicious on the plate though ;)
yeees exactly! It's really delicious but also can be toxic if you are not meticulous.
Happy you read my advices 😊 🙃

I think I have seen them in the woods. I am not used to pick them though, but I know others do.
Welcome to Hive :)
Thank you 😊
It's a common space but you always need to pay attention and be sure about that if you wanna pick it 😉
To nasz polski Rydz! Now we know the English name too 😁
No patrz.
Koźlarze to te same co Kozaki? Takie z łatkami na nogach?
Mmmm looks so tasty😋
Thanks for sharing this post @nepheleesf!
