It is not always about what is received but the intention behind the gift. That was demonstrated here. Your students were so kind to visit you in hospital and to give up their snack money. They used their creativity to share their wishes on cardboard. They are wonderful and good hearted children but it is also a reflection of how you are as a teacher. This is a memorable gift indeed and one that you will always treasure.

That's absolutely correct, the intention is always more valuable than gift itself and it's heartwarming to get such from my students.
