Summer solstice in Antofagasta — Solsticio de verano en Antofagasta (En/Es) | PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography

In some parks of the Chilean city of Antofagasta, there are old cranes from the port. They were put there for decorative purposes. In one of them, the sun is “between its legs” (as seen in the images) only during a few days around the December solstice (summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere ).
For taking these photos, it was used the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20, and they were post-processed in Gimp.

En varios parques de la ciudad de Antofagasta hay antiguas grúas del puerto, cuya función es meramente decorativa. Una de ellas está orientada de manera tal que el sol se posa en su parte interior, tal como lo muestran las imágenes, durante pocos días cercanos al solsticio de diciembre (verano en el hemisferio sur). Siendo este el tema de las fotografías de esta publicación.
La cámara usada fue la de un Samsung Galaxy S20 y la edición se hizo en Gimp.
