That One job

With the way everything is, inflation, the country's economy. It's really hard not to consider anything just to make a few bucks. But then again, we should have principles, right?

Picture this. I'm casually sitting on my couch trying to enjoy what little time I have for myself when I see a video on Facebook of people making a ton of cash and how easy it is for me to do the same. My initial thought is, "This is a sign from God. He heard my prayer and now I'm moving out of this dump." Then I see what the job is and I instantly know it isn't for me, that vacation would have to wait I guess.

What is this job I'm talking about? Starting an Onlyfans.

I love my personal space like a hermit crab loves its shell. I mean, who wants the entire world to know what they do behind closed doors? I'd be walking down the road, paranoid that everybody looking at me knows what I'm up to. I would feel like I have no secrets anymore. Since they've seen my body, they might as well know everything else.

I've not even thought about the consequences. I will always be a closed person. When I say closed, I mean I don't like my business outside. I hardly upload pictures. Once those videos hit the internet, there's no going back. I'm sure we've all heard stories of how the internet came back to haunt them. People try to look for a job and an old picture or comment is pulled out, something they're not proud of and then they don't get the job. The internet always remembers. It has a way of coming back to haunt you like that bad ex who won't stop texting.

Say my situation isn't like that and I decide that's not the path I want to take anymore. Once they're there, they're there.

I've never had a personal experience with setting up Onlyfans (no judgment if you have), but I believe in preserving my personal relationships. Think about it, How would you feel if your grandma stumbled upon your portfolio while Googling your name? That's a conversation you'd probably rather avoid, right?

So, even if OnlyFans were offering a golden ticket to heaven, well maybe not heaven. But it was offering any other golden ticket, I'd have to decline. Some things in life are just too precious to put a price on, and for me, that's my dignity, my privacy, and my integrity. So, you won't catch me hitting that career path for now.

This is me now, I am subject to change.

We all have our differences and that’s what we have to discover. One man’s food is another mans poison.

It's not bad to have principles, and I agree that it's wise to protect ones integrity . The internet is a memory on it own. It can remind you what you've forgotten for years even when your brain has shut it down forever. It's a good choice brother.

OnlyFans though. 😅
To many, it's such an easy way to make money without actually doing a lot but you're right when you said that the internet always comes back to haunt someone especially when something good is about to happen.

What's the job description of someone into OnlyFans?

Try and make up your article to the minimum number of words, 500 next time.
