Last weekend I made snacks, because I was confused at home that there were no snacks to eat. It was also raining so I just used what I had at home.



Finally I made ONION STICKS snacks.

ONION STICKS are snacks that are delicious and easy to make, the ingredients and how to make them are also very simple and easy.

Snack on onion sticks is a food made from wheat flour and tapioca, its crunchy and savory taste is perfect for you to enjoy with your family when you are relaxing, especially when hanging out together on weekends.



The ingredients we need to prepare are as follows;


INGREDIENTS



Wheat flour, tapioca flour, celery leaves, onions leaves, 2 eggs, chicken stock, 3 red onions, 3 garlic, a pinch of salt and flavoring, enough water, margarine, coriander powder.

HOW TO MAKE



STEP 1



Puree the red onion and garlic seasoning.

Slice the onions and celery leaves.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, mix mashed red onions and garlic, flour, tapioca flour, enough water, eggs, salt, seasonings, chicken stock, sliced ​​​​leaves onions and celery, 2 tablespoons margarine. Knead with clean hands. Knead until the dough is smooth and does not stick to your hands.

Take enough dough, prepare a cutting board and a container that has been sprinkled with flour so that the dough does not stick when sliced.

Flatten the dough and slice according to taste.

After slicing, sprinkle with flour so that the slices don't stick together.

After the dough has been sliced, the next step is the frying process. Fry in hot oil and medium heat so the sticks don't burn.

Very creative chef, I think this is a good snack for the road or school. There is a very similar vegetarian snack here in Suriname, probably from Javanese influence, but the main flavor is cumin seed, a sign of the Indian influence that is also present here.
