Fish kinilaw recipe
Hello hivefood buddies,
As today, inspired to make a recipe which heartily dedicated to #hivefoodies lover in Hive and at the same time my entry for Hive Top Chef competition initiated by @qurator, inspiration with an msg ingredient.
So by then I created a kinilaw recipe, so when we say "kinilaw" literally "it is eaten raw" it is a raw fish dish and native preparation methods particularly here in the Philippines.
So started with my recipe, sharing the ingredients and spices first corresponds with each quantity.
INGREDIENTS | QUANTITY |
---|---|
tamban fish | 1/4 kg |
ripe tomato | 2 pc |
lemon | 2 pc |
red chilli | 2 pc |
vinegar | 1 cup |
ginger | 10 g |
onion | 1 pc |
msg | 1/8 teaspoon |
salt | 1/4 teaspoon |
Preparations:
▪︎ Slice this tamban fish into halves and sliced it an inch.
▪︎ Wash it properly with water this slice tamban fish.
▪︎ After washing with water, transfer it on a bowl and soak it with a vinegar to extract its fish smell.
▪︎ Then slice all the neccessary spices into pieces. The ginger, onion, red chilli, ripe tomatoes and lemon.
▪︎ When all the ingredients and spices are ready, then proceed immediately in my mixing steps. Put the slice tamban fish into a bowl, add a little salt and a little msg.
▪︎ Pour it with a little vinegar.
▪︎ Next add the slice ginger, followed with the slice onion.
▪︎Add the slice red chilli, slice ripe tomatoes then squeeze the slice lemon to produce its juice.
▪︎ Then mix it properly using a spoon.
▪︎ And transfer it on a plate.
▪︎ Then finish and ready for serving.
