Last year I participated in a teaching competition at a public university in my state. The results of the contest were given in a formal ceremony for the delivery of credentials, to my surprise there were familiar faces from other teachers 🧑‍🏫 who were also winners.

One of the teachers that surprised me the most or I was really happy to see there, was a friend that I have known for about 18 years, and that I had also not seen for a long time, he was a nice reunion, however during the activity we were not able to talk much, due to the event itself, we still exchanged phone numbers, an opportunity to maintain contact.

Last week I had in-person classes at the university, many know how distant it is and for those who don't know it is 1 hour 1/2 from my house 🏡. My teacher friend who also won the contest, coincidentally lives in that municipality where the university is located. I called him to see if he was there, and he didn't have classes, however he was always so willing, he told me that he would wait to meet me when I finished my classes.

That's how it was, before I finished my classes he was already at the university, I was very happy to see him because we had so much to talk about, update ourselves as they say, Hehehe.

Because it was lunch time he invited me to eat in a restaurant near the university, with air conditioning because the heat was terrible, Hehehe.

We caught up, we talked about the family, the children, the classes, what we are doing on the other hand, a little bit of everything, all while waiting for the lunch.

I also took the opportunity to ask my friend for advice regarding my postgraduate thesis that I must already start, he is very good at it, I do not hesitate to guide me and give me some information such as guide.

He enjoyed a roast meal and I had a hamburger, it provoked me, Hehehe.

We were there a while longer after eating, while we rested, we talked a little bit more, hehehe, it was a long time without having contact with him, and this was the occasion. We agreed to keep in touch through WhatsApp and also when I attend face-to-face classes at the university again. We must make up for time.

Good friends are eternal and neither time nor distance can extinguish the spark that exists when those friendships are carried in the heart ❤️. It was an afternoon of updating and good food.

El año pasado participe en un concurso de oposición docente de una universidad pública de mi estado. Los resultados del concurso se dieron en un acto protocolar para la entrega de credenciales, para mí sorpresa habían caras conocidas de otros docentes 🧑‍🏫 que también fueron ganadores.

Uno de los docentes que más me sorprendió o realmente me alegro ver allí, fue un amigo que conozco desde hace unos 18 años, y que ademas tenía muchísimo tiempo sin ver, fue un bonito reencuentro, sin embargo en la actividad no pudimos conversar mucho, por el acto en si, aún así intercambiamos los números teléfonos, una oportunidad para mantener el contacto.

La semana pasada tuve clases presenciales en la universidad, muchos saben lo distante que es y para los que no saben es a 1 hora 1/2 de mi casa 🏡. Mi amigo docente que también ganó concurso, casualmente vive en ese municipio donde está la universidad. Lo llame para ver si estaba allí, y no tenía clases, sin embargo él siempre tan dispuesto, me dijo que lo esperará para encontrarnos al terminar mis clases.

Así fue, antes de terminar mis clases ya el estaba en la universidad, me alegré muchísimo de verlo porque teníamos tanto de que hablar, actualizarnos como quien dice, Jejeje.

Por ser la hora de almuerzo me invitó a comer en un restaurante cerca de la universidad, con aire acondicionado porque el calor 🫠 estaba terrible, Jejeje.

Nos pusimos al día, hablamos de la familia, de los hijos, de las clases, de lo que estamos haciendo por otro lado, de todo un poquito, todo en la espera del almuerzo.

También aproveche la oportunidad de pedirle a mi amigo asesoría con respecto a mi tesis de postgrado que ya debo iniciar, el es buenísimo en eso, no dudo en orientarme y pasarme algunas informaciones como guía.

El disfruto de una comida asada y yo pues una hamburguesa, me provocó, Jejeje.

Estuvimos allí un rato más después de comer, mientras reposamos, hablamos todavía otro poquito, Jejeje, era bastante el tiempo sin tener contacto con el, y ésta era la ocasión. Quedamos en mantener el contacto a través del Whatsapp y también cuando asista nuevamente a clases presenciales en la universidad. Debemos recuperar el tiempo.

Los buenos amigos son eternos y ni el tiempo o la distancia pueden apagar la chispa que existe cuando esas amistades se llevan en el corazón ❤️. Fue una tarde de actualización y buena comida 🫠.
