My balance and my motivation are one person: you || LOH contest 148

Hello dear hive ladies, what a pleasure to participate with you in a new contest.

If you are a breadwinner or financial provider for your family, how do you balance your work and life so that your well-being is not compromised?

In my home country of Venezuela it is
very difficult for a single person to carry the financial burden, I can safely say that nowhere in the world can a single person take care of providing financially for an entire family. In my case my immediate family consists of my husband, my 1 year old son and myself. At first glance 3 people does not look like a very heavy financial burden, however it is, if you want to cover the healthy food for a baby, clothing and recreational activities and of course the parents as well.

Here in Venezuela there are several vaccines that are free and many others that are not, vaccines that are considered equally or more important than those that are free can become very expensive. The good thing is that for each one there is a date, that allows us to have the opportunity to gather to be able to give it to our baby and that he/she is as protected as possible.

Many people will say that only my husband works and brings home the breadwinner, however his work alone would not be enough for all the things a small child requires, starting with the many diapers he needs. It is true that everyone sees me at home taking care of the child like many other moms who do the best job they can do, but I also sell beauty products by catalog to help financially in my home. When the baby is napping I promote the products and receive the orders and by the time the child wakes up I have already answered questions and clarified doubts and I have already sent the order. That way I can continue to devote my full attention to my child who is old enough to explore and get into mischief.

At night, after dinner, my baby is ready to sleep, when he goes to sleep I dedicate myself to do something that I love, I write a post on Hive, that is my time to relax, writing and also, this represents a great economic help for my home. Even though sometimes my day can be stressful because of the chores and because I don't rest for a minute even when the child is napping, seeing him sleep so peacefully and happily is my motivation and my happiness, it is the most beautiful job I have and many times it is the reason for my inspiration to write.

How do you enjoy your life, your hobbies or the source of entertainment you do, so you don't get consumed by stress?

I love to watch a good movie together with my husband when the child falls asleep, I also like to read and play with my son, as many know I had a hard time having my baby so I enjoy the time I spend with him to the fullest, take him to the park or for a walk, chase him while he runs or just dance at home with him, his favorite song is the body dance so there is no option to be tired or bored. When we listen to the music he likes we must sing it and don't let it occur to us to stop singing a single part because he immediately stands in front of me or his daddy to say "sing mama" or "sing daddy". But when it's time for mom to listen to his music he understands it too and there is even a music group that I listen to because their music relaxes me, it's called morat, but to see my child with only one year old singing his songs that is the most beautiful thing I can see and hear. There is nothing more relaxing than that. That's why my emotional health is not compromised by work or daily occupations, as I enjoy fulfilling them with the best of company, my balance and my motivation, my little big love.
