Hello dear friends of this beautiful community, this time I bring you a story where a girl must do what she can to survive, will she hate the person who is holding her prisoner? Find out below.

Relato / Story

In a beautiful cabin in the farthest mountains of Alaska, there lived alone a sweet little girl named Alejandra, she was only 11 years old. Since no one lived around her, she had no friends and no one to share her life with, so she had to stay there until she was 18 years old.

Every day she saw through the window what her sight allowed her to see and she imagined that she was going out to play with the snow, only once a week a lady came with fruits and food prepared for the week, she didn't spend five minutes there and then she left. Alejandra, in order not to go crazy, talked to her dolls all day long, they became her only friends, after 6 years she started to get used to it.

Every time the lady went to bring her food, she told her -you only have to wait until you are 18 years old, then you will get out, your father is punishing you, he is the one who isolated you from everyone and that is why he has you here-. Alejandra began to dream of that day, as she grew older it became more real.

She wanted time to pass quickly so she could get out of there, so she could see her father and ask him what had led him to lock her up, even so she hoped to be by his side again and together with him enjoy the world she remembered very little of. No one could imagine that a girl could live like that, abandoned by everyone, much less by her own father.

The cabin had a large library, her mother who had passed away had instilled in her a love for reading by reading fascinating stories, but it was her father who had taught her to read, so during the day Alejandra's favorite pastime was reading to her dolls, her imagination was great, with each book she read she imagined how her life could be, "how I would like to live in a beautiful castle surrounded by beautiful plants and not in this cold cabin" she would say out loud.

One day she stares in the direction of the door, the one that the woman had told her since she was a little girl that she could not try to open, that it was dangerous, there was only one day left until she turned 18 and she felt ready to try to open that door, she looked for a knife to open it but after a while she did not succeed, so she took a hook out of her hair and placed it in the lock and after three attempts she managed to make the lock ring. She was very nervous, just turn the handle and she would find out what was behind that door after so many years.

Her hands were trembling but she grabbed her favorite doll to give her courage while with the other she turned the handle, -incredible, how beautiful- she said while she passed to another world totally different, she closed the door after leaving, observing the big tree that had in its root that door that gave her her freedom.

Everywhere there were beautiful landscapes surrounded by nature, he had never been so happy, he walked and walked and never tired of exploring, there were fruit trees to eat, fruits he had never tasted, "I hope I don't finish reading this book" he repeated to himself because he thought he was imagining everything again.

After a long walk, she saw in the distance a great castle of indescribable beauty, when she arrived and touched the great door, it seemed to be stuck and opened, in the distance she saw a figure walking towards her, a male voice was heard shouting very excited "my daughter you have arrived".

Alejandra was surprised, that man ran to embrace her, although years had passed, she still remembered him, he was her father. The king explained to her that she was his daughter, the princess Alejandra, his wife, Alejandra's stepmother had taken her away from him to take revenge, she told him that if he went out to look for her he would hurt her very much, in spite of being the king he preferred to stay locked up waiting for his daughter to return one day, so that this woman would not hurt him.

The woman told him that only when she turned 18 would she free her, the stepmother believed that at that age she would hate her father, and that it would be her own daughter, full of resentment, who would finish him off. What that woman did not imagine was that "Alejandra's heart was so pure that there was no room for hatred, resentment or resentment".

Alejandra gave her father a hug and said, "I missed you so much daddy, I waited so long to see you again, although I always thought you had abandoned me, I never stopped loving you". The whole town was happy to have the princess back, now the king would no longer be sad.

That was how the Kingdom of the Forest returned to normal after a long time, the king was already with his princess Alejandra who did not let herself be poisoned by the acts of her cruel stepmother.

That day everyone learned a great lesson: "We should never let words or acts of others, make us change our way of thinking or acting with other people".
