Soda Stereo es una etapa de Cerati que no suelo apreciar ni admirar tanto. Claro, hubieron muchas buenas canciones que salieron en la época de Gustavo cuando tocaba con Soda Stereo. Las canciones que más me gustan de esta banda son: Canción animal, la ciudad de la furia, cuando pase el temblor y te para tres. La época de Soda Stereo también fue muy comercial, esa es una de las causas de que tampoco sea muy fan de Gustavo en Soda Stereo.

La canción que hoy traigo es una de las favoritas de mi pareja, también es una canción amada por mi madre y por muchos otros. La canción es un tema sumamente melancólico e inspirador, desgarrador incluso. Creo que muchos sabemos el porque Cerati escribió esta canción, y fue cuando se enteró que su padre tenía cáncer.

La canción nos pone en un contexto de reunión, con algo de lluvia, la cual siempre transmite algo de nostalgia. Parece que la trágica noticia del padre de Gustavo Cerati fue durante un rato con tazas de té. Me gustaría resaltar una frase increíble de esta canción, la cual dice: "El eclipse no fue parcial", creo que fue una frase que Cerati quiso usar para resaltar el hecho de que la noticia no sólo oscureció al padre o a la madre, sino que nublo a todos de forma imparcial; somos uno con nuestros padre y familiares de ciertas maneras, así que obviamente, lo que sufran ellos también lo sufriremos nosotros.

Es terrible imaginar todo lo que una persona con cáncer y su familia tienen que pasar, el temor de que esa persona no sobreviva, el dolor que sufren al ver a esa persona padecer síntomas fuertes de enfermedad, y el remordimiento de no poder controlar la situación.

He estado observando mi vida, y agradezco poder tener la salud que tengo, a pesar de padecer Trastorno obsesivo compulsivo, tengo cosas que agradecer en mi salud y mi vida. Puedo luchar cada día con mis fuerzas.
